What happened

 

Gaethje tried unloading, Khabib took him down and got a triangle choke

 

Khabib retired.

 

this makes me wonder if tony could have subbed justin just as easy.

 

Khabib timed his takedown to perfection. Gaethje, wisely was moving, using his feet, but using up a lot of energy doing it, as Khabib applied pressure and at a high tempo. Gaethje couldn't deal with the speed and efficiency of Kahbib's take down, he looked tired at that point.

 

Justin tapped in 2nd.

 

Tony was too easy to hit.

Why I wanted the Ferguson fight over Gaethje

 

Tony was crap v Justin, he needs to learn defense, Khabib would jab his head off.

 

Tony matches up better with kabib

 

No, he`s not skilled enough, Khabib is retired now anyway.

 

Tony has great bjj better than kabib and can work of his back

 

2 of 3 judges gave the 1st round to Gaetjhe fwiw.
Hell of a career for Khabib who finishes top 2-3 of all time.
You can only beat those they put in front of you but there will always be questiions about quality of opposition compared to just about all the other ATGs
