    Agreed, but there were an aweful lot of supposedly non-casual fans expressing with certainty Canelo's dominance in this fight, I hear crickets now that the fight is over.

    Some weird posts after the fight. For boxing one of the elite pure boxers of the last 20 years in a massive step up fight, I can't say Alvarez did worse than what people were expecting. Frankly, I thought he was going to get abused much worse than he did, but the kid showed some composure.

    Everyone with a brain knew this fight had Floyd decision written all over it, and while Alvarez couldn't overcome that, he did show some chops in there that leads me to think he could continue to be a P4P fighter in the future if he continues developing. He basically just made $12 million for an intense sparring session where he learned from the best in the business. I can't knock the kid.
