Huck is beyond shot, even at "only" 34 years old. I don't expect much of him here but heck I'll take it as a half-way decent C level HW scrap. Bring it on, I'll watch.

Now that’s a boring hug fest I don’t want to see. Huck isn’t even a shadow of former self, except the dirty tricks.

    (will watch anyway, of course)

Even though Huck is only one year older than Joyce this might be one of those fights where an old veteran pulls off the upset against a prospect.

Yeah. I somehow figured you'd say this and I agree. Huck brawls and mauls him inside. Joyce doesn't like getting hit and doesn't take a particularly good shot either. Huck may not be as crisp of a puncher as Jennings but he's meaner and swarms when he hurts you. If Huck still has a good amount left in the tank I'll pick him in a minor upset(honestly wouldn't be that huge of one)

I'd like to see this fight. Gonna be a lot of clubbing shots landing hard. Someone is gonna get stopped. As Joyce is by far the larger and fresher of the two, I'd pick him in a slobber knocker

Lol, hes gonna walk him down like hes F all imo..Joyce is gonna stop him in 6 one sided rounds..To worn to put up much resistance I think, and Joyce just keeps throwing, even if Huck tags him he'll at worst momentarily just have to regroup.. Stiverne was it ?? Was landing the odd bone cruncher on Joyce, it was like a Geale v GGG moment, where he was coming back when caught instantly..Only the big boys I feel can deal with Joyce, and Usyk, even Hunter imo has major problems with Joyce

Vlad Sirenko would certainly disagree with you. they went at it hard not long ago and last one who did that with Sirenko was DDD who got dropped. If you are taking Sirenkos punches even in sparring ,you need a chin if hes trying to match firepower.

Joyce if anything has to take a good punch bc the open defense where he takes a few to land himself at times. Stiverne if anything can punch and hit him as clean as anyone can,and didn't budge him.as soon as the bell rang .

Amateurs, being stunned a few times in the pros. I don't think he's hiding Price or Fraudley levels of china but I think it will definitely be a hindrance as he progresses. His leaky defense and style will only exacerbate things further.

I'm still sticking to my guns that Huck would be a nightmare for Fury, and after than Wallin debacle, I'm even more convinced. He tends to under prepare for opponents he thinks will be a walk in the park anyway, and I doubt he or anyone on his team would take Huck seriously in the least. Quite frankly I think Huck is capable of beating Hughie on a weeks notice.

Nah, Huck is far trickier an opponent than people seem to think he is. His inside game, mauling tactics, slick fouling, non stop roughhousing make him a handful for most, and his style works particularly well against taller fighters. Similar to how Hunter dealt with Bakole. Also his gas tank is better than most HW's, and his style depletes theirs much quicker than it does Cruiserweights. There's a method to Capt'n Hukic's madness and an incredible amount of unorthodox non linear improvised skill that he brings to the table that's not easy to adequately prepare yourself for.
