Yeah, I agree, which is why I haven't paid for it Honestly, I have no faith in Frank. How many of his shows have been cancelled in the past couple of years? A ridiculous amount, and the channel can't rely on him for the majority of the shows they're going to have for that reason. There's a guarantee for a good nights boxing every, what, 3 months? That's it. Far too many quick stoppages, mismatches and a total lack of interesting bouts can be made. When there is a semi-decent show like this could have been, there's always the risk of it going belly up. FW needs to consider the fans who have already paid and can't get their money back. I don't think he cares about them though. They're just additional money on top of his proper earner, which is ticket sales.
TBH I'm not expecting THAT much for my tenner. A couple of smaller shows each month, maybe a decent one every quarter and some international cards. Bad time year to even get that much though....
glad i'd decided to put off subscribing till after the new year (and even then i'll wait till 'the season' picks back up prob mid jan/feb
I bet you lot are laughing all the way to the bank with your saved £10 every month, I feel like such a fool for signing up! :gsg
That's a good deal for the amount of people you got to take photo's for you. Out of curiosity, how many more can I expect?
It's not about the money though. I've not paid not because I'm tight or whatever, I just expect more than what is currently being offered. If the channel was better but the price went up to £20 or £30 a month, I'd order it straight away. Even though I'm a boxing fan and I want to subscribe, I don't think anything about the channel at the moment is worth subscribing for. The best thing is Bunce's show and that only lasts an hour a week! Most cards have one decent fight and a **** undercard. I just want to see more from them.
Why are some people talking like groves vs TBA has at all affected ticket sales.... i mean it hardly gets the juices flowing and he has a fan base on the level with degale and for a show in the north west so close to crimbo there gonna sell **** all between them **** card and a rather pointless one from what i can see from start to finish
I can easily afford Boxnation, but won't until I see value for money. They get £60 straight off, they can put on what they like and then entice you with a big summer bill to sign up again!
The problems that you're listing are not exclusive to BoxNation, it seems to me that you have a problem with paying for boxing in general and not about value for money.
As ThePrinter said the other day, BoxNation is the equivalent of 8 PPVs a year and when its put like that it just aint worth it IMO.
