Ed Robinson should be used as a pundit rather than a reporter...

Irrelevant whether he's quality or not. He is simply not TV material and won't become a pundit.

I'd rather listen to him than nearly anyone else, but that's because I love boxing. A casual fan would find him a turn-off.

There's a reason he's been with Sky for years and not really progressed.

Ed Robinson is class. knows his stuff and a former pro too. deserves a bigger role IMO, would much rather listen to him than McCrory/Oliver etc

Ed is brilliant and yes very underused. Just think how many times Johnny has a stroke on camera and slabbers/stumbles through the words. It so routine it is part of the show yet a knowledgeable guy like Ed is not utilised to his full potential. Or even a quarter of it tbh.

are you telling me Glen Mcrory or spencer oliver have personality? :rofl

If Sky is anything like the rest of the world Ed's problem is probably that he doesn't brownnoes as much as the others.

In comparison to Ed, yes, of course they do.

They also achieved a lot more in the ring.

Did anyone else notice him reference Quigg to his face as a belt holder and not a champion in the post fight interview at weekend?

Shows integrity doing that and not going along with Sky and Matchroom's fairly tale.

God only knows how Johnny Nelson has kept his job as co presenter of Ringside. Comes across as a lovely bloke but his presenting skills are **** poor, either asking silly questions or basically asking the same question to one of the guests. Sooner or later sky have to replace him because at times he ruins ringside

Ed is good, also stopped watching toe to toe when he left. Fearon has knowledge to some degree but his general delivery is dreadful.
