Hatton is a much better opponent than Karpency and Brook isn't even a world champion

Hatton and Mosley would be decent opponents (although there's no chance Mosley would come to Sheffield). El Maachi is not a good opponent though and Hearn should be criticised if that fight happens.

Hearn is a breath of fresh air and is promoting Kell perfectly. I cannot understand the criticism.

He's fought Lovemore Ndou (world ranked fighter), Jackiewicz (world ranked fighter) and now he's going to fight Matthew Hatton (a big name in this country, former European champion and world title challenger).

On top of this he's got Kell in front of his own people in his home city. The next fight is Sheffield Arena (brilliant), a big arse venue.

****** had him boxing no marks miles away from home. Speak to Kell's dad and he'll tell you about the differences in how he is now being promoted compared to before.

Matthew Hatton is a COMPLETELY different league to Karpency. Karpency is as **** an opponent as you can get with a winning record but then against so was Kells opponent in America. Its an iffy record built on journeyman and nothing else.

I think Brook vs Hatton is a good fight.

  9. I don't think you can accuse Hearn of being a hypocrite really.

He's not the one trying to flog a bogus world title fight on a subscription only channel..... he's getting his fighter some experience against suitable opponents before making a move into world level.

Better that than wait ten years for a weak champion, defend against bums and eventually get KTFO - which is what would have happened if Kell had stayed put.

The point i'm getting across is Hearn would be a hypocrite if he got Kell a fight with El maachi. But when I wrote the article Brook's opponent wasnt announced. Brook Vs Hatton for the IBF is good for me.

Cleverly is supposedly a world champion, he should be facing higher opposition than Brook.
