Eddie Chambers: doesn't matter who, doesn't matter what size, how tall, how short, or how strong. Whatever they can throw at me, I'm ready for it.

He seems confident in his abilities for someone that's 6'1.

Hey he's a top 5 ranked heavyweight, only has one loss a fight that he could of won, and recently beat a former champion. And now is rumored to fight Alexander Dimitrenko in Germany.

    Povetkin beat him, yeah.

And he's entirely the wrong man for either Klitsckho.

I guess you have to mouth of in this division.

His next fight according to fight___ will be against Dimitrenko in Germany, July 4th, in a WBO eliminator.

Chambers is a good boxer, but to win here in germany he has to clearly dominate Dimitrenko. That´s very unlikely, as Dimitrenko can move well and in this case it will be a huge reach advantage for him. If Dimitrenko stays outside, i don´t see how Chambers will win this fight. He´s not a fighter who is known for his offensive skills. He plays the defensive game, letting his opponent come to him and then counter him. Peter was a good style matchup for him. Dimitrenko imo is a stylistic nightmare for Eddie imo. Instead of waiting and then countering he would to have to jump on Dimitrenko. Back in 09/2005 Vaughn Bean did a good job on Dimitrenko, ugly to watch, but very effective. He jumped on Dimitrenko, connected a flurry and then clinched and hugged. Dimitrenko found no answer for this style, but got saved by the judges. Maybe Eddie should try to get a tape of this fight.

Dimitrenko vs Chambers is a good fight. One that's relatively important for the HW division.

He looked vs Peter altough it wasn't extremely impressive.
He looked good with Povetkin early too.

I think Wlad might do to him what he did to Byrd. I like Chambers but I just am not sold that he can beat all the champs. If Valuev wins a rematch I think he might sqeak that one out, but then again he might also lose a SD.

As per the topic? I don't think he can beat any of the top 5 heavies (Povs, Klitschkos 1+2, Haye and Ruslan) but he can certainly frustrate them if he chooses to. When Chambers uses his legs and moves around, He's a very solid heavyweight. When he chooses to defend by moving his upper body only, he's a decent heavyweight with no stamina.
