Hopefully he can fully recover from his injuries. Not sure how well he'll do at cruiser actually. At HW, he was at least quicker than his opponents. That won't necessarily be the case at cruiser. BTW, I wonder why he's doing this now instead of going after Steve Cunningham. They're both Philly guys, it would seem to be a natural match.
Steve & Eddie Chambers train at the same gym so why fight.. especiallty when they wont see million dollar paydays... & Eddie weight 202 pounds with clothes so if he didnt have shirt & shorts he was really a cruiserweight
I like it, could bring some good matchups to the division. As far as I know WBO ordered Huck to fight Afolabi next. I would like Chambers to take a tuneup and then fight the winner
He was 202 pounds against Adamek Since 2009 he has been below 210. Anyone who is below 210 should be fighting at CW. Chmbers will clean up the division if he can get to fight them all.
With a much smaller speed advantage and most top CWs being stronger and just as sturdy, the only thing Chambers will clean out is his personal bank account. He's going no where at CW. All the same let's hope he fights more often than as a HW.
The guys used to fighting MUCH stronger, bigger punching guys, and I still think hes faster and more skilled than nearly any cruiser. Hes going to do big things if he gets the fights. He wont have guys 30 lbs heavier than him leaning on him and pushing him all night.
I never understood why Chambers, Haye & Adamek never stayed there to begin with instead of moving up but I guess they all wanted to cash in against the Klistschkos. Chambers I'm not too sure may be a little to late but we shall find out.
Loving the responses from ******s that think 3 pounds of KFC and trash is equivalent to 3 athletic pounds. Did you know that the longer a body is used to a certain weight the more difficult it is to balance at a lesser scale? Did you know that by balance I mean being at the weight limit(or less) but nothing above? Did you know that the jump from Flyweight to Super Flyweight is 3 pounds only? That's the same for many other divisions which range from 3 to 4 to even 7. Did you also know that catchweights could range from 2-3 pounds too? What's the point of catchweights then if 2-3 athletic pounds is useless. Seriously, you didn't bump into a ******. Hit the ****ing gym, have an educational conversation with a nutritionist and what their real job is all about and why they're highly paid if this system is easily surpassed "naturally". Hope the other ******s will look into this post too as I'm not going to quote 3 other idiots. Your level of comprehension, which I'm expecting to lack severely, would require some of you to understand my post.
Eddie Chambers is only 30.. so how he too late??.. Alot of prospects in Heavyweight are older then eddie.. Seth Mitchell 33.. So he has alot of time.. especially at cruiserwieght
Chambers was always a heavyweight. For the other 2 guys, they wanted a new challange and wanted to make extra cash doing it.
