probably by the fourth rd. I have to agree with him on that. Vlad should have an easy time fighting Haye. Haye will make Vlad look really good. This is a good fight for Vlad, really good.
Interesting. I wish I could sit down with Eddie Chambers and talk boxing with him. Eddie Chambers is one cool HW fighting dude. He is one of my favorite fighters. He could take several other good Hws to school. Chambers is that good. Take Haye to school for sure.
But, the Hatton shocking Ko will be looming in the minds of every Brit when Haye takes the stage against Wlad. It will be in their minds. I know what they will be thinking, "Please Haye, don't let us down, don't get knocked out like Hatton did. You are our only hope." It will be looming.
That I agree with. Wlad has fought many guys mroe talented then Haye. But the difference is that Haye has pretty good speed, both foot and hand. And not bad timing. I look at him like a souped up Lamon Brewster. Problem for Haye is that not in a million years could he take the beating Lamon did before he got to Wlad. Plus Wlads a better fighter now. So hats off to Haye for getting in there with the big boys and doing whatver he could to make the fight. But if he wins I'll be suprised.
Pretty sure Carl Froch is Britains only hope these days. And he's not getting knocked out anytime soon.
I am sure when Froch won, the brits were thinking it was their year, a good start and a good sign. But, Hatton's loss was big in the moral for Britain. They love Hatton over there. And it has to put some doubt that it afterall might not be their year. Now, it really is just superstiitious talk, but that is unfortunately the way a lot of fans are in sports, they need good vibes to help them get through tough games and matches. There are some fans who even must be sitting in their lucky chair for them to win. The Hatton loss has hurt moral, and moral is a good thing to have.
Only a dumb**** loser like Chambers would make a stupid prediction like that. All Haye has to do is step sideways and Klitschko won't know what Haye is doing or why he is doing it. The problem is that is all Haye is likely to do. Remember Holyfield vs. Valuev? Expect a similar scenario.
Yeah British boxing was really on a high a few years ago but other then Khan I don't see the depth there that they need to keep it going. And with his chin you always have to expect that he won't live up to his potential. Froch is good but he's looking for big fights and I'm not sure howmany of those he can win. Haye has obvious limitations evey if he does get past Wlad his time at heaveywieght is bound to end in heart break. So basically I look at this year as at best a last hurra for british boxing. Then its going to take a break for a few years. I'm sure you'll get some good performances from there olympic grads cause they had such a good year. SO I look forward to them but I expect Carl the cobra and mabye one or two others to have their work cut out for the next while.
:rofl If its all that easy.... Damn be here on 21 June and dont come up with excuses. Thats the only way you can gain respect....
Sir, it is my understanding that Eddie Chambers has been a sparring partner for Wladimir Klitschko in the past. He is choosing not to bite the hand that feeds him.
If either one of these bums puts up a real fight I will be surprised, and I will register my surprise in writing in this forum. opps....I was refering to Klitschko and Haye. I still don't know enough about dimi to characterize him.
