In a lot of other sports that's the rule, not the exception.
ARD requires German boxers to undergo year round (real) OSDT, so why can't this be done in the US and the UK too? :blood

boxing as a sport is more than just the u.s. and uk and germany

and boxing unlike other sports has no blanket set of rules, rules depend on what country you live in, then what state, or what WBA, WBC , ABC belt you are fighting for

Indeed, but if the ARD can enforce it, shouldn't other networks also be able too? :think

No, i don't think so too because most rather close their eyes and take the profit as opposed of doing the right thing.

    What Fantasy?

Boxing is just behind the times. We shouldn't expect them to come into the modern era with testing like many other athletes and sports have?

More boxers are requesting it now than they were years ago, aren't they?
So if it keeps going like this, we can expect a change. Especially with "Clean" athletes that have their career and money on the line they may go this route. But one step at a time.

And the more boxers that fail, the more likely you are for the Commission to do something about it as well as the government may stick their nose into it because they love this b.s.

Money is more of the problem than anything. Testing is costly. And some have talked about the business side to testers.
