According to Bild.de Eddie Chambers was not allowed to travel back to the United States due to a concussion he suffered yesterday.

To be honest, at first I thought he took a dive in the 12th (I was in the stadium) because of the mere accumulation of shots he received but I was proven wrong.

    That hook must've been nasty.

You have to see the replay to see how devestating that hook was. It landed right on the button and displaced Chambers' neck.

That blows. I watched the first 7 rounds yesterday. I was really happy with how Eddie fought in the first 4 rounds but after that I was just hoping he could make it though the fight without getting knocked out. He really was the first fighter in a long time thats fought Wlad that actually tried to be rambunctious enough to win. It just didin't last very long. And once he realized he was in over his head it was over. I hope he can come back from this cause I really like his skills as a boxer.

Damn... memories of the Taylor-Abraham fight... hopefully he's okay, Fast Eddie is a cool kid... now he must take a big rest and try his luck at cruiserweight!

    DOn't know about you but...

    I'm not a doctor but...

Didn't need any report to know Chambers suffered a concussion. That was evident just from the way he fell.

Why would he wait till ten seconds left in the fight to take a dive?

LOL, just in case we all thought he was taking a nap?

    Thanks for the information.

  10. When you are knocked unconscious by a punch, it's usually because of a concussion.

That left hook was brutal, as were the moments following it. I'm not surprised.

Hopefully he can bounce back alright and drop the last 9 or 10 pounds. He'd be a title holder at CW, no question in my mind. Wlad's just a beast.

Agreed. Always good to see some reason and logic on ESB.

Although I'm often critical of Waldo it was impressive to see a HW score a knockout from a superman punch!!!

A dive because of accumulation shots?

That doesn't even make sense. You mean a quit job? With 10 seconds left in round 12?

No surprise... a KO is basically a concussion, numbnuts.
