Who do you guys think is going to take this one?

I think Eddie is the better boxer, but I don't know if he can overcome 6 inches in height and avoid the pole like jab of Dimitrenko..

I will say however, that I give Chambers and his people credit for the way he has been brought along. In recent times he has entred the ring with Sam Peter, Calvin Brock, Alexander Povetkin and is now fighting Dimitrenko. Can't criticize his opposition.

I always felt, Dimitrenko's jab was actually pretty weak for his height - he often falls back to just throwing hooks. Hard to call, I think Dimitrenko might win but I would prefer Chambers to win.

    Chambers by decision.

If he can beat a great fighter like Sam Peters, he can surely beat Dimitrenko.

Peter looked like crap that fight. Also, Peter's never been much of a boxer, yet he still managed to outbox Chambers until he completely gassed a couple rounds in.

To beat Eddie Chambers you need to have a good jab, and go to the body ( Chambers has a high guard). Also, have a good a defense because Eddie is pretty good counter puncher. Dimitrenko doesn't ahve those capabilities.

Eddie is a jabber, he jabs his way to a wide decision in this one.

Sam Peters is probably the most naturally gifted HW (beside David Haye). He can box, punch, has a good chin. Peters can do it all. This is a guy who outpointed James Toney twice.

The math is not hard to figure out. Sam beat Toney who was the 3rd best HW, almost best the 2nd best HW Wladimir Klitschko, but lost to the first best HW Vitali. He is a supremely talented boxer.

The Sam Peter who fought Wlad and Toney was a good fighter with a great will to win, he was never a great fighter. Against Vitali, he lost whatever desire to win he used to have and basically gave up after round three. The version Chambers fought was a shell of Sam Peter. Dimitrenko believes in himself, trains hard unlike Peter and knocked out a game Krasniqi with a body shot. His only fight where he looked vulnerable was against 6'8 Hoffmann.

I am not saying Dimitrenko is great, but he would have stopped the version of Peter that Chambers carefully outpointed.

Reading your posts, I wonder if you are serious or just trying to mess with people to instigate responses. A 6'1 fighter has a world of problems trying to use a jab effectively against a 6'7 fighter. Dimitrenko counterpunched Krasniqi with a body shot to a brutal body shot KO.

You call Sam Peter a supremely talented boxer? He was mediocre as an amateur, game but outclassed agains Wlad, he got a gift against a semi - in shape Toney and beat the grotesquely fat version of Toney.

I was very disappointed with the result (and the performance in general) of Peter in his fight with Vitali. As if he was not the same fighter. And then , a second straight loss by Chambers. Is it the beginning of the end ? If so , boxing will lose an incredible strong puncher and a good hw!

This is one of the silliest things I've ever read.

While I won't even begin to touch the bolded portion, I have a question...who is Sam Peters?

Chambers could take a decision if he can dig into his back of tricks and come out with stamina. Otherwise Dimitrenko will likely pull away with the 2nd half of the fight. Chambers will probably make it very close until about round 7 when his cardio fails him and Dimitrenko piles on points.

I'll say a decision win for Dimitrenko.

Might be hard for Chambers this, Dimitrenko is a big guy and I don't think Chambers is big enough to be able to land the jab on him all night he did with Peter.
