The reach factor has me up in the air about the whole thing too. Dimitrenko has a broad wingspan and a better jab than some are giving him credit for. Chambers is the slightly superior technician in my opinon, but I don't know if the narrow margin of difference is enough to make up for such a huge size deficit. Eddie is going to have to work his ass off all night to stay ahead on the cards and keep Dimitrenko off of him. I certainly hope he prepares and conditions accordingly.

This may well prove to be his toughest test yet....

Good and very interesting fight. Both guys had some ups and downs, impressive and unimpressive fights, I guess the one who wants it more will be the winner. Dimitrenko might prove too big and brings decent skills, speed and stamina, but Eddie is really fast. His punch output and size disadvantage will let him down IMO.

Not only this, but Dimitrenko is a mobile big fighter. At 6'7" and and 83 " reach, I can not see Chambers winning this fight on his jab alone.

Chambers has nice skills, but he lacks power, doesn't risk much, and doesn't throw enough punches.

Dimitrenko should win here. I am in the minority in thinking Dimitrenko is coming into his own as a heavyweight, and is a lot better than he is given credit for.

    Dimitrenko via UD.

Arriba and BigBone said it all really. :good
Chambers is in for an uphill battle; for the most part it's Dimitrenko's fight to lose.

Chambers is the better boxer, but way too inactive to compensate for Dimitrenko's physical advantages

I agree with the pick but it will be closer than that and you're wrong about Dimitrenko's jab & body work. Those are actually his strengths along with his power. Chambers has the far better defense & he's fought the better competition. This is a very close one to call but I'd favor Chambers if I had to pick.

Let's all agree that it's nice to see 2 highly rated HW's fighting each other instead of some record padders.

You are seriously overrating Peter & what's left of James Toney here................

"Peter is the most naturally gifted HW besides David Haye" :rofl

The fight's in Germany against an undefeated prospect, Chambers is going to have to win clearly to get the nod on the scorecards, I think Dimitrenko wins a close decision.

    Dimitrenko sucks. He's painfully white.

But then Chambers is a fat Cruiserweight, who at times got outboxed by Sam Peter.

This is gonna be about who sucks the least.

Dimitrenko is a good fighter. He will probably stop Chambers.

Actualy Peter was easily outboxed in a first Toney fight.
