Eddie looked fit and damn good today. Dimitrienko = Exposed.

Who you got in this mythical matchup?

Haye wins. Despite being a former cruiser weight, Haye is actually the bigger man. Chambers makes heavyweight due to fat, Haye is all muscles.
Eddie may have looked okay today, but I'm still not sold. Let's see Chambers lose some more fat and put on another impressive performance.

Chambers is a more skilled fighter. He throws his punches more correctly, works the body well, is a better defender, and is pretty versatile for a HW in this current scene. Haye probably has the advantage in footspeed and he's obviously more explosive and hits much harder.

I'd take Chambers to be honest and it wouldn't surprise me to see him stun and drop Haye a couple times. I think he'd get his jab going, have periods where he'd outbox him, and periods where he'd put the pressure on Haye and would rough him in close. But Haye's speed and power would cause Eddie problems as well, so it's a great matchup.

Who cares if Haye is all muscle? If that was so important than Duncan Dokiwari would have been the Ring Champ. What else do you need to see? He beat a major puncher in Peter and a world class Eastern European heavyweight in Dimitrenko. When was the last time an American fighter did that? Probably Brewster against Krasniqi. Chambers can contend with anyone in the division outside of the Klitschkos.
