I watched Eddie Chambers beat Calvin Brock last Friday. What a fat joke. Its just that Brock was even fatter and slower. This is the best heavyweight prospect from the USA?

He will be stopped by Povetkin. God help him if he steps in the ring with Klitschko.

Eddie Chambers the best American Heavyweight prospect gets beat BAD by any of the 4 ABC belt Cruiserweight champions.

    Sad really.

Eddie Chambers is nothing more than a quick, basic heavyweight. He will likely be stopped by Povetkin.

"If they wanna hate, then let em Hate, and let the Money Pile Up."

People can keep saying what they will, Chambers will give Povetkin all he wants and MORE. There will always be criticism. Chamber's understands and acknowledged intent on working more.

It's more that peope dislike his style. They said all the same about Byrd and any other slick but not heavy handed HW. Chambers is fast, slick, strong, and has good D. Chambers is a complete Class act and doesnt run from larger Heavyweights. Whether he wins or not? Stylistically, Chambers will make a fight of it.

Is there flaws? Sure! Every fighters has flaws, Klitschko poses far more chance of exposing such than Povetkin:yep Povetkin is going to get beat:good
Whats funny to me is that Povetkin has a similar style. He's not bigger, not faster, not stronger, and we'll find out something about his SKILL in this fight.

He is an efective quick handed heavyweight who has at least earned a chance at what Ray Austin and Calvin Brock have already done, fought Wladimir... as long as he is winning he has to be handed the chance , you just never know.. I remember a long time ago leaving a Bruce Seldon fight against Jose Ribalta saying the same .. 5 years later on the McCall v Holmes undercard in Vegas , Seldon handed Tony Tucker a pounding taking the WBA crown.. The strangest things often happen, Chambers beating Povetkin is a stretch to me but until it hapens don't laugh trust me, When a skiny Mike Moorer said he wished to try to be a world heavyweight champ back in 89 i laughed , he was a 12 stoner and had just battered Danny Stonewalker.. 4 years later he was a solid 225 pound monster thrashing Holyfield in the Caesars palace Tennis court area.. Odd things happen... Rjj as heavyweight champ too. Eddie may prove us wrong.......

I agree, Povetkin is being seriously overrated by some people on ESB. I like Povetkin, but hes nothing special compared to anyone else in the top 10 IMO. Chambers will make it a fight, and will probably lose by decision, but I certainly wouldnt count him out.

Povetkin is head of the class.. I have taken a decent fighter to box him and seen for myself how effective he is.. Him and Eddie will be very competetive and both deserve the opportunity to fight the title holder , after all , the man who Eddie fought last was ko'd by Klitschko early.. and the man Alex just beat was ko'd by Klitschko in Mannheim a year or so ago in Byrd.. I took Friday Ahunanya to fight Alex on that very night and was shocked on how technially good Sasha is , he is annoyingly hard to beat...

    RIght.

To his credit, Chambers is fast, and does have accurate and fast punches, but I don't see him doing anything past his Brock win. Povetkin will deraill him, and then Chambers will never top his Brock win.

Care for an avatar bet there C Honey? I'll change my avatar to one of Chambers (my choice but it will be one that makes him look good) if he beats Povetkin and you can have a positive looking Povetkin one if Sasha wins, deal?

Ok enough nonsense on this Povetkin guy. Yes he's an ok fighter but he's not going to make it anywhere. First off he lacks size and power. Also his chin seems kinda weak even Byrd seem to hurt him and even sliced his face up so cuts is also going to be a big problem. Yeah I would give him a chance to crack wlads egg chin but I'm picking chambers to beat him.
