Poor Chambers...it's really hard not to like this guy. unfortunately I think most, including Teddy Atlas, are being a little to hard on this guy's performance tonight. He did just enough to beat this version of Sam Peter.

Why is that good enough for someone like PBF or B-hop but not for Eddie Chambers?

 

Fat Eddie Chambers is "B" rated at heavyweight......... A good boxer, but average heavy.......... Nothing special about Chambers.... Cheerio....

I think people are frustrated because he could do so much more. He doesnt have KO power so he wins most by decision, yet his punch output is so low for a guy that must win rounds

I just dont see him getting to the next level. The K brothers would decapitate the guy and I just see him being stuck as a "B" fighter in the HW division... maybe he should try CW

 

Chambers should move down to Cruiser. Nice jab, good body movement but too heavy. He is not well trained. If his condition is good, he will be a Cruiser.

 

Dissapointing to be honest.

The man really should have been putting those punches together.

 

chambers just scored a really big win , did not show any conditioning problems, it was peter who had no gas tank, chambers is prob like many he trains very hard but eats too much, he seems humble and hard working

 

He eats false. If he trains hard, he cannot be such fat. He is young and too fat. He needs to work on this things.

He is a talented fighter no doubt about that, but his main problem is that he is lazy.

Lazy in the gym and lazy in the fight. He reminds me of Cley-Bey - big time.

Either Klitschko would probably dispose of him but he is better than Arreola in my opinion. It's a shame he doesn't move down a weight because he could be a champion in the making.

 

Chambers has zero chance to beat Vitali or Vitali Klitschko. He was not at all impressive, neither was Peter. I had the fight scored 96-94 at best for Chambers. If Peter been 10 lbs. lighter, he would have knocked Chambers out. Vitali or Vlad will have no problem knocking Chambers out. Valoeuv or Chagaev will also knock Chambers out if they so chose to do such.
