Williams was pretty one note. Chambers was slick and had pretty good chin should be able to win pretty easily here imo

Tell me a bit about Chambers? I asked “who” when I read the title of the thread, looked at his record and I think I remember seeing a few of his fights. Looks like he had a solid career, chin up type of retirement.

A lot, he was an entire song of notes, he fought like a bantamweight and was basically a human pitbull at his best offensively the most dangerous fighter of all time next to Joe Louis… Williams was basically an 80s belt holder feasting on wee sized guys semi successfully lol.

Pretty much think of him like an orthodox Byrd. Good defense mostly shelling up and rolling with punches and then countering but had a good chin when he got caught. Had a good performance against Povetkin imo even though he lost and good wins over Brock and Peter's. Not the best fighter but for his size was pretty solid.

Machen was surely better than Chambers. Cleveland Williams seemed to be decent against boxers, his unorthodox explosive attacks, lead left hooks head and body, he’d close the distance fast and catch their defence and block off guard with the angle of attack.
