Rewatch the first minute of the Lewis-Tyson fight. Tyson charges, as he did in his prime, and Lennox unloads uppercuts. Lennox too fast, too strong, too smart.

Futch called Lewis's shaky chin BEFORE he got starched. Now that's pretty damn impressive!!!:yep

Yeah, it's like he summarized Lewis's career before it happened. Maybe while rubbing Rock Newman's head. Spooky.

Tyson was only 27 in 1993 so yeah he was in his prime. The problem is he was in the middle of a four year prison stay.

Man if you think there is a comparison I really don't know what else to tell you. The Tyson that came after prison was not the same man. Maybe hit just a tad harder but his survival assets were gone.

Eddie Futch ( Papa Smurf) was a great trainer. I got to spend a little time with him, I was very impressed, not just as a trainer, but as a human being. Trust me, he was a great person.

I haven't seen too much of Eddie Futch but he seemed to really know his stuff, That is the thing with boxing, experience is the key.

Bowe would have never become a champion if not for Futch.
