    I am even reading comments on YouTube that Thor would beat fury LOL… they aren't boxers, Eddie was battering him earlier on and then just gassed by the looks of it and thor had obviously drilled his technique and fundamentals much better which carried him to a decision but there wasn't much in it .. Chisora versus Thor next please :lol:

    Best thing about that fight is it gave me a bit more appreciation of the world scene

    Yes Del boy, whyte, ruiz etc are bums compared to past generations, but next to these two they look like Ray leonard

    However this was actually one of the better HW fights I have seen, no hugging, no fouling, just 2 guys trying to win clean. Kudos to both.

    Thought Thor won that quite comfortably. Won the final 4 rounds and knocked Eddie down twice.

    Not sure what people were expecting but thought it was entertaining all things considered. Given how robotic Thor is in stature I thought he boxed well and actually had a decent 1-2. I think Hall just needed to be that bit more competitive and obviously far more active for it to really be a good fight. As Billy Nelson said they are two complete amateurs. I’m not a fan of these YouTube things but not a complete snob either. That people said there is some intriguing about two men that size having a go and certainly in Thor’s case I thought it was more than passable.

    I thought it would have been nice to see EITHER go for some closer range stuff.

    However I think both have such limited mobility that they can't actually even throw punches in close...would have ended in a clinch.

    Thor spent the entire fight making sure he didn't get caught by that big overhand and Eddie spent the whole fight making sure he didn't plod into the jab or right. With such a limited arsenal both only really had to focus on avoiding basically 1 punch the entire fight. Eddie coming in a few times for the jab to the body was maybe the only exception.

    I was kind of impressed with Eddie being able to get out of the way of them punches to be honest, hence the thread.

    If Eddie had fought a bag then the bag wins on points every time, more mobile, better defence, more elusive...He stick to being loud & dropping weights...loudly...

    Didn't someone tell Eddie he needs to get close to this huge guy? staying on the outside against a much taller man looking to land a windmill wasn't solid thinking really. Fight was better than I thought really as I expected a gas out by round 3, of course my expectations were very low to begin with. Let's hope Thor doesn't think he could take a real heavyweight fighter , even a club fighter would murder him.
