This content is protected This is what he did with no hopers like Takam, Breazeale, Molina, Pulev etc. One has to laugh at the “Joshua has the strongest record” crowd. It’s based on the deception that this quote encapsulates.
Facts, and they tried to do the same thing with Miller too before that fight fell apart. Literally no one rated Takam, Miller etc until they were named as a possible Joshua opponent, then suddenly Matchroom FC big them up as a “serious top 10 contender” I do wonder whether Joshua’s fans knowingly help peddle Hearn’s propaganda, or if they’ve actually been brainwashed into genuinely believing it
He helped Joshua spar for the Usyk rematch and Whyte spar for the Wallin fight that never materialised. He's an ar*e-kisser who claimed that Joshua and Whyte were "the two best heavyweights in the world" when they were preparing for the Usyk and Fury fights respectively. The most notable fight on McKean's pumped up 21-0 record was his final two seconds stoppage of an out of shape 283 lbs journeyman Jonnie Rice in Australia, who may well have been ahead going into final round if he wasn't the clear B-side: http://eyeonthering.com/boxing/demsey-mckean-vs-jonathan-rice By contrast, a 256 lbs and 265 lbs Rice was beaten far more comfortably by Makhmudov and Ajagba. In his last three fights, McKean proved unable to stop such stalwarts as Bracamonte and Kiki Toa Leutele over 8 and 10 rounds and took 6 rounds to retire low level journeyman Don Haynesworth. McKean looks like a top 50-100 heavyweight, a glorified mid level journeyman. On paper he'd be Joshua's weakest opponent since Gary Cornish.
Not that hard to be a Top 10 Heavyweight at the moment when you see the Likes of Chisora...Whyte....Ortiz...Hunter and Pulev in most peoples Top 10....Might be over rating Him I think but who knows with this Lot.!!!
Takamine and Pulev were both highly regarded on this forum long before they were in talks of fighting AJ. The other two have literally never been hyped up as good wins. This whole narrative that Hearn overhyped AJs resume as the reason many people say AJ has a strong resume is getting out of hand
