Hearn has a free reign to advertise on the biggest platform in the UK for sport. I would imagine it's far more difficult to promote a fight in the US.

Hearns is a different breed to the amateurs who promoted the Kovalev Ward fight.

 

i cant think of a credible argument against him, other than it wouldnt take much to outdo roc.

 

HBO are responsible for the promotion and they have cut the budget on boxing down to nothing. Hearn would have his hands tied , there's nothing he could do unless he funded a state side media tour along with everything else himself and that isn't happening.
Boxing just isn't a big PPV draw in the States at the moment. He's only blowing his own trumpet.

 

He'll make Joshua a bigger star than Canelo in the states, You can quote me on that in a few years as well.

 

I think the problem with American promoters is outside of the USA geographic. FMJ travelled to sell the Hatton fight. Spence travelled and that helped his stock.
