I can see Amir Khan taking on Danny Garcia for the WBC title (obviously providing / when Garcia navigates past Guerrero). Somehow I can't see Team Khan demanding a 80/20 split for that fight.

If its right what I'm reading that Khan is being offered the lion's share, in addition to it being a personal career best purse (by some way I might add) and still negotiations have hit an impasse, maybe Khan v Brook is simply one of them fights that will never happen.

In addition, is it me or would it be slightly amusing if Khan did take the Garcia fight and suffered another 4th round knock out?

I want khan to win this fight if it ever happens but seriously he is running out of excuses not to take it. He probably deserves the 60/40 split because brook needs him more than he needs brook.

Does he just not want to give hearn and brook a payday or is he trying to get a belt before taking the fight to make it a unification? Or is it simply a duck

IMO. If hypothetically, Khan went down the WBC or WBO route and was successful I'm not sure the position would be that different. Yes ok it would be a unification title fight, but would Team Khan suddenly change their demands? The big Wembley Stadium fight and the extra revenue that could generate may not be available for another 12 months, so there is an argument there is even less chance of the fight occurring.

The "I'm not giving Kell Brook a big payday" argument also confuses me a bit. Yes ok, Amir Khan has been significantly more financially successful than Brook inside the ring, but it's not as if Brook is skint fighting for chump change, especially if you look at last couple of years or so. Living in Sheffield, Kell Brook's new house doesn't suggest he is struggling either (not that I'm stalking Kell Brook or anything lol). I'm pretty certain even if the Khan fight never materialised, Brook will be able to retire in a few years a very wealthy man.

Yep. Team Khan need to accept he was little more than an overhyped belt holder at 140 who lost when he stepped up to the A league. At 147 he isn't even that. He's been a fringe contender hoping to win the Mayweather/Pacquiao sweepstakes.

How any boxing fan can seriously support and like Khan needs there head testing, made excuse after excuse not to fight brook, called mayweather & manny out for how long and has not done a tap to demand 80/20 purses against a world champion when he's done fu(k all for how long, I hope brook moves on without him and Khan gets bingoed by Garcia.......again.

The same logic can be applied to Kell.

All we ever hear is "There's a big fight after this one. Let's get this one out the way first..."

Then what happens? Oh yeah, pointless mandatories.

Take away Porter, and Kell's resume at 147 isn't even as good as Amir's and that's a fact. And Kell has been there for like 13+ years.

Brook CANNOT MOVE ON. Who will he face? You guys who throw Thurman and Bradley etc out there are living in a dreamworld.

Kell will face stiff after stiff.

It would benefit kell if he fought a top 5 world opponent. ..then have khan showdown in winter

Hang on 1 minute, Khan will earn more facing brook than anyone else out there, plus it's for a would title, as someone else mentioned he wouldn't be demanding 80/20 vs Garcia.
Tell me another better fight out there for Khan?
    Financially?
Be a massive fight, Khan said get a world title and it would happen, brook got it and now he moves the posts

Problem is that to generate the huge revenue it has to be a summer football stadium fight.

That's why if it doesn't happen now we are looking at summer 2017 at the earliest.

    It's not gonna happen.

In an ideal world the winner would get 60:40
