Lol you joker! Kell chase Canelo - yeah right one of the biggest draws in the sport is going to be under pressure to fight Kell Brook isn't he..I bet if he makes it through that Brian Rose will be demanding Canelo defends against him next
Who do people keep mentioning the big names in the same breath as Kell Brook? Kell has fought ONE name in his entire career. He won't be facing ANYONE of note anytime soon. There is literally 10-15 names spread between WW and JMW (Kell will be there within a year or so, he is massive at WW) and he won't face one of them. That's a fact.
Khan should make Brook and Hearn get on their knees and beg, with begging bowl and all. Khan doesn't need the fight. This is business, he is wealthy and financial set. Brook needs the fight badly, without it he will continue to be a world champ on chicken change.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dl4Qb0Awrcw now khan said winner takes all kell is being charitable will khan back up what he said easy win khan says so its the easiest 80% he will ever make then
Business doesn't work that way mate. Winner takes 80%..This is big time boxing not some game of pool at the pub.
Funny how after winning the IBF title he tells Khan he'll have to get in the queue. Look how that turned out. It's smart from Khan all things said and done. It's too much of a risk. Brook is dangerous and he impressed against Porter.
Going from the last ifl interview Eddie is in his own world as usual. I am a big Kell fan but Eddie can't land the big fights for Kell against Thurman, Bradley and Garcia. Why do you think Degale goes Stateside. Eddie is desperate for the Khan fight so it will raise Kell Brook profile in the USA then they have a foothold to make the big fights against the big names. Amir Khan knows what position Eddie is in and is playing hard ball with the 80/20 split. He knows Ketting peanuts for mandatory fights. Without ppv the money is not that great for Kell be real Eddie As for the jumbo jets the only 2 I can see this year is AJ and Frampton and Quigg the rest ie Crolla etc etc are micro lights. They need building up before the big fights at Wembley If by the end of the year Kell hasn't had a major fight I would try going US. The only plan Eddie has is Wembley major fight against 2 Brits. If that didn't work like last year Eddie cant make big fights simple. So much for Matchroom making waves in the US market that idea went very quiet If Kell did fight Khan I reckon he would take him out in 4 but can see Khan going down the Garcia route beating him then beating fighting Bradley.
Kell should leave now. He's regressing big time under Hearn, deep down they both know this. He's had one big name under Hearn and like six nobodies. Degale was always going to travel regardless, it's in his nature to fight the best. He NEEDS a big stage to perform, Kell on the other hand is happy to defend his belt against nobodies. And he is the right amount of deluded (Eddie loves that) to stay home and think he's got a "big fight next". Floyd Mayweather is THE ONLY FIGHTER AT WELTERWEIGHT that NEVER has to travel. He ALWAYS has the home advantage, and for good reason. Kell is trying to do the same thing but can't pull it off. If Manny Pac can go to China a few times to fight when he is the No.2 most popular fighter in the world, Kell can also travel. His promoters model is based around DOMESTIC fights. Surely Kell must get this seeing as the biggest fight he's linked to is against another Brit, the biggest fight his promoter has put on has been between two Brits. Khan can't be defended. But the fact is is that he HAS a big fight line up against Garcia. Kell has nobody. Kell is waiting for Khan. And what happens when this fight won't get made this year? Stick it out in Sheffield defending against mandatories? Khan needs to get a move on, but he is accomplished. Kell REALLY NEEDS to get a move on. His career is based on one win in Shawn Porter and a fight he's never landed (Khan). Hilariously bad resume. He is getting further and further away from the big names by the day, he's just too blind to see it.
The thing that puzzles me, why the need to fight Khan? Is this Kell's legacy building fight? get yourself in there with the likes of Garcia and co...
SSN reporting Khan-Brook negotiations making good progress in Eddie's owns words in the last 24hrs... Maybe 65%-35% split????
http://www.skysports.com/boxing/new...ir-khan-a-step-closer-after-progress-in-talks So looks like team khan have lowered the demands.
I'm not getting excited about this fight just yet because there is a long way to go, but if Khan could take out Garcia so both Brook & Khan have titles going into their fight at Wembley that would be incredible. Big if tho.
