Eddie hearn and your thoughts on him?

Definitely one of the best promoters at the moment.

 

You could do a lot worse than Hearn.

 

He's currently one of the top promoters in the World. I can see him either staying at the top for decades, or trying too much and burning out.

 

You've got to say he's absolutely brilliant at what he does.
Of course he over hypes and cons the casuals but that's his job, to maximise the income of himself and his fighters.
As a boxing fan I get irritated with some of the bull**** he spouts and the PPV's he's managed to get away with.
You've got to say though, present day he's the man.

 

He is a drunk bum from the pub that got lucky and scams a whole nation!

 

He does the 1% things better than everyone else, that’s what makes him different!

He knows the boxers, he knows their family’s, he takes time to understand where they have come from and he respects their journey to get where they are! Watch the videos of him being interviewed in the corridors of the gym, he greets every boxer with sincerity and takes a moment to show his interest in them, even those not signed to Matchroom or those who are training to fight a Matchroom fighter.

On the business front he makes his cut but doesn’t lose sight of the fighters being the main earners, he ensures they are well paid. Beyond that his fighters have their futures sorted for them with advisors who help these young fighters set their lives up so they’re not left destitute when it’s all over.

The rest is salesmanship, film flam but that’s the business he’s in and he does that well too.

Look behind the curtain and you’ll find a good man and a decent human being
