    Here's the problem with that.

The UK is smaller than Texas. The drive from London to Cardiff is like 3 hours or so.

Anthony Joshua and Hearn crowing about Joshua and the size of his crowds would be like a fighter from Texas saying "Everyone in Texas knows who I am. I can sell OUT in Dallas AND in Houston." (which is like a 4 hour drive.)

Joshua's not selling out stadiums from New York to Tokyo. You can drive from one of those UK stadiums to another without even stopping to get more gasoline. How much overlap is there in the people buying tickets?

I don't want to discount the size of the crowds, because they are great. But keep it in freaking perspective.

But Wilder is damn sure known in the UK, that's the point, Boxing in general is bigger in the UK. This isn't the 70's, if you follow boxing you know the best fighters from all the divisions regardless where they are from. If someone knows AJ they probably know Wilder, if they don't know Wilder they probably don't know AJ, you either following boxing or you don't. I'm not from Mexico but I have followed Canelo a long time, I'm not from Argentina but I know Sergio Martinez, I'm not from Puerto Rico but I know Cotto. The world is smaller if you follow boxing it's global, at the moment the UK is more into boxing than the United States, no more no less.

Then why not put the contracts together and guarantee that Wilder will get the AJ fight assuming he takes care of Whyte. If that is done, Wilder has made clear he will come over and spark Whyte out, so I'm not sure why that's a problem?

Why does no one watch Wilder in USA? Why is such a bum when it comes to selling tickets?

More people watch Wilder in the U.S. than they do Joshua. 1.8 million watched Wilder-Washington in the U.S. this year. Joshua-Klitschko and Joshua-Takam COMBINED got half as many viewers in the U.S.

Does that mean Joshua was fighting Bums? Don't be a moron.

Anthony Joshua has been drawing about 300,000 viewers in the U.S. for his fights. Those are old ESPN2 Friday Night Fights numbers. Joshua has been drawing some of the smallest viewing numbers in the U.S. compared to other boxers. By far his biggest viewership in the U.S. was the Wlad Klitschko fight, because everyone knew who Wlad was.

(Hell, the Andy Ruiz-Jospeh Parker rebroadcast got a bigger audience on HBO than Joshua-Wlad did.)

After that, Joshua's viewership dropped back down to 300,000 viewers in the U.S.

Again, the monster crowds he's drawing are nice. But they're all people from a pretty, small, well-defined spot on the map (a three hour drive).

So the EGOs of the Hearn-Joshua side need to get reigned in a little.

Better yet, why not just offer Wilder the Joshua fight, like Parker is being offered the Joshua fight?

They aren't offering Wilder a Joshua fight. They're offering him a fight with Whyte.

Parker is being offered the Joshua fight.

Why doesn't Wilder OFFER JOSHUA SOMETHING?

Wilder: Offer me a fight, offer me a fight, pllleeeease Mr Hearn offer me a fight.

Hearn: If you want to fight Joshua why don't you make us an offer?

    Wilder: *Tumbleweeds*

Yes. Showtime and HBO have both East and West coast channels. You get them with your subscriptions.

The fights are shown twice in the same evening. Once at 5 p.m. eastern. And again three hours later.

So they show it twice in one night. Really no excuses there. Do they televise it TWO TIMES THE SAME NIGHT in the UK?

In fact, if you go by TV ratings in the U.S.:

    * Wilder has the highest viewership among the heavyweight titlists.

    * Parker is second, I believe, because around 800,000 or so tuned in to watch him fight Ruiz on the HBO rebroadcast that day.

    * And I don't believe Joshua ever drew more than that Parker-Ruiz fight in ANY of his fights shown here.

So, that's YOUR MONSTER UK BOXING STAR as far as the U.S. goes.

Again, Hearn and Joshua need to reign it in some with the EGOs-Chest Banging. I'm sure he's the biggest boxing star they've ever had in the UK. But, like I mentioned, that's like dominating the Texas market in the U.S.

In the U.S., Joshua isn't any bigger draw than anyone else Wilder has faced.

That's it? They show Joshua's fights two times in one night (FOUR TIMES in one night when he fought Klitschko, and it was on HBO East and West and Showtime East and West), at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., to literally the tens of millions with a subscription, and only 300,000 tune in on average to watch Joshua, and your angry reply is who watches boxing at 5 p.m.?

    Brilliant.

Are you saying if Joshua fought a non-PPV at 5 p.m. (and it was rebroadcast at 8 p.m.) in the UK, nobody would watch?

    Hilarious.

Like I said, just match Wilder with Joshua first ...

And Hearn can let the Joshua-Parker fight build so he can "maximize" his profits on that one.

What's the difference? Wilder sucks? Right? Let him go first. Let Joshua win his belt.

Then Joshua can bring his three belts (or four, can't forget the mighty IBO) ... into this fight with Parker and "MAXIMIZE" the hell out of that fight.

Sounds good. I'm sure Wilder will be happy to help out by going first.
