Hes right though. This is a chance for Wilder to get huge promotion. Massive media presence, with th whole world watching. Why not come?? Also fighting Whyte in Britain would be massive for building the fight with the regular British punter, who knows as much about Carlos Takam as the do Wilder.
I can't believe Wilder would not show up, that would be a moronic decision. Hearn has simply jumped on this rumour and is using it to build further interest in Joshua/Wilder. But if Wilder does actually no show, we can forget Joshua/Wilder happening next as it's a clear sign that he doesn't want the fight.
I totally agree, what the hell is his problem with fighting whyte for 2-3 times than his ever earned and then gets a bigger profile and slice of the Joshua fight. Its insane
The facial expressions are coming together nicely...Maybe a few more nights with Kalle will finish the job.
This content is protected Nonsense. He came over and did the media tour already on the bigger stage when AJ fought Klitschko and it achieved nothing for him. You had the whole stadium screaming Wilder after AJ beat Tatum and people are still saying he has no relevance. Talk is cheap , nobody needs to be introduced to Wilder as most casuals know more about him than they do Parker. The Ortiz win done more for Wilder's stock than any fluff interview with Kugan Kassius would. Hearn 'significantly upping' the offer to face Whyte NEXT is a clear sign that Hearn does not want the fight. He hasn't made any offers to Wilder.. Why is that?
Wilder just really isn't very smart at all. Turning down the Whyte fight didn't make any sense. Accusing Hear of milking Joshua has probably pissed Hearn off. Angering the guy who pretty much decides how/when/if you get your payday fight probably wasn't a great idea. Canceling the Cardiff trip makes him look like he either isn't serious about fighting AJ or is just a ***** who is afraid something might happen to him in Britain.
Please, when Wilder came over last time he called out Bellew and Parker, lol. He didn't want anything to do with Joshua, he got into a shouting match with Bellew and stipulated he wanted to fight Parker first before thinking about Joshua, despite saying before hand he was coming over to challenge the winner. Wilder back then to casuals was just some joke champion fighting obese journeymen and nobodies. Now he's beaten Ortiz which legitimizes him in a way all of his other fights never did and I doubt many casuals watched Wilder/Ortiz. Now he can be marketed at casuals as a real threat unlike before, that is of course if he actually does call out Joshua and not someone else like he did last time.
So how can he negotiate a fight with Hearn if he isn't here? Bravado and bull**** aside, don't you think it would be a good opportunity for him to actually sit down with Hearn and thrash something out? Bottom line is, he HAS to fight Whyte at some point, so what does it matter if it's Whyte then Joshua or Joshua next. Either scenario is a win win for everyone. Unless of course he doesn't think he can beat Whyte. Eddie is only using Whyte as a stick to beat him with. Joshua/Wilder has to happen sooner rather than later or the belts will get separated and we can kiss goodbye to the idea of an undisputed champion. Eddie has acknowledged there is only a small window to get the fight made.
The video shows him claim Joshua to be the fight he wants so i don't why you're talking about Bellew and Parker. lol.. Why does this man make normally decent posters lose all sense and rationality.
Big Eddie giving it the facts, Wilder fanboys will be hurting..........Wilders not coming he has some reality housewives shite TV to film for!!
The video he clearly says he wants Parker first. He's said it on video on more than one occasion around that time that he wanted Parker before the winner of Joshua/Wlad, despite saying the whole reason he went there was to call out the winner. So yeah he can "claim" he wants Joshua but it wasn't a priority he wanted Parker next and Bellew more than he wanted Joshua if we looks at his actions and not his words. Fact is he mentions Joshua saying he'll meet him later on down the line after he fights Parker, which of course never happened. In fact despite saying he wanted Parker it was Duco and Higgins that had to reach out to Wilder to negotiate about a possible fight, Wilder and his team never tried once to approach Parker. Are we seeing a trend here. Calls out fighter, never makes and offer, claims he's being ducked. Fact is Wilder has only tried to unify once and that was against Martin but the WBC and IBF wouldn't sanction it. But to be fair Joshua didn't want the fight either then, he wanted the Wlad rematch first, then to defend his mandatory so he wouldn't be stripped and then Parker, so it's not like Joshua was breaking the doors down to make Joshua/Wilder either. It's different now though. Wilder is seen as a bigger threat, Joshua is about to unify again hopefully and may or may not have a mandatory enforced unlike before and Hearn has been saying all along it happens in 2018. If Hearn is lying he's painted himself into a corner and will look bad if the fight doesn't happen this year.
