Yeah I heard that he'd booked Wembley for the summer a few weeks back

Leave him with 80,000 plastic red seats.

eddie has made it pretty clear that he wants these summer spectaculars once a year now , the money generated is huge . the froch v groves night in 2014 was just the start of where UK boxing is heading .

im pretty sure the card on june 13th will be stacked with big fights , eddie sees the bigger picture and he knows what fans want to see , one massive night in england's capital is way more appealing than 6 fights spread out over 2-3 months , it will be massive PPV and ticket prices into the stadium he can put at whatever he wants , true fans will pay it !!

the UK fight scene right now has never been so strong and with eddie putting on massive nights like this it wont be long before we start getting the super fights we all want .

we should all feel very fortunate when you compare what we have to what is going on in the US where al haymon is on a one man mission to destroy the sport because he has that many fighters under his control that nobody is fighting anybody . i like the way eddie sees the bigger picture , haymon is happy to make poor fights with soft opposition so he can milk easy money out of the game , his fighters must be getting seriously frustrated by now and cannot wait to get out of contracts ... and guess where they will be heading :)

    ^^

Pull the other one. It'll just be a Matchroom exhibition on the biggest stage in the country.

The issue with the date is that Hearn wants to do a PPV in both March and April. Will the public plonk down another £16.95 in June? I'm not so sure.

Eddie has hoodwinked the Brit fight fans and will have at least 3 PPV events in 2015.You supported him and now he has you hooked.

The atmosphere isn't the same at Wembley.

Froch v Groves 1 when you had 18-20,000 in the MEN had more atmosphere than the 80,000 rematch at Wembley.

    Wrong. Try again...

Furey - Agreed. The MEN Arena is the best in the country for Boxing.

it makes no difference if the fight is agreed or not , the night will still go ahead with someone else topping the bill other than khan v brook , this is going to be an annual event whoever is the main event . personally i hope it is a different main event , give me froch verses chavez or golovkin and i will be doing cartwheels up and down my street :)

truer fans never paid for the froch groves fight at wembly .......it was packed to the rafters with casual fans, half of which didn't have a clue about boxing at all.......

in all honesty hearn probably made decent money out of it, so did the fighters, but the point I'm making is the fans weren't true boxing fans

Hearn is a disgrace, its like every fight that he puts together is "Bad blood" which suckers in the gullible british fans into thinking its going to be a great 50-50 fight. I can't believe how he conned the British public into thinking that Cleverly-Bellew was a ppv worthy fight, what a farce:patsch

I knew it will be ****.

Probably one decent fight (Froch vs Chavez Jr maybe?)
Degale against some top 15 ranked guy who is easy pickings.
    Quigg vs TBA
    Joshua vs a bum
A decent domestic fight with Derry vs someone british level.
Bellew vs a somewhat credible top 20 fighter but no one in the top 10 (wouldn't be shocked to see Bellew vs Enzo actually).
