Eddie Hearn claims WBSS is asking SMWs to step in for Groves

Groves has been the stand out man in the SMW comp. Surely they cant do that, for me it will ruin all the good work they have done making this a fantastic tournement. There is some mucking about with the destination of the other final too when i thought had been settled ages ago.

 

It should probably go to Eubank since he took part in the semifinal whereas Breahmer ran away from his. Fair enough if he was injured , but if Groves is missing out because of an injury , then so can Breahmer.
The final will be meaningless pretty much if Groves can't participate so what does it matter who fills in at the end of the day.
Id rather see Skoglund get it over Braymer

 

Surely they need every penny they can get from these finals to cover their costs and max the profit

Groves is the biggest name out of the 4 finalists £ wise, be such a stupid decision to take him out

True. Thats the much better option. You can't replace the finalist.

 

That would undermine the entire tournament if they did that. It would be a pointless final if one of the finalists wasn't participating, would be an empty victory for the winner and prove nothing.
