Many example in history where conquerors leave no.stone unturned until they can figure out how to get the next piece of territory, it would have been a matter of time before Hitler went after everyone else. So no it wasnt perceived fear ny Britain and France, it was a highly likely possibility... and nations today react far more in response to less... just look at the middle east and america.

And.Russia getting hold of crimea? How about america circuling Russia and the middle east through nate, missile shields, border forces, regional bases.

Non of this was done simply to maintain Germany's borders.

Hitler had the grandest of ambitions exemplified by his desire to create a Thousand year Reich. Such desires could be argued are those of a madman and to leave such ambitions unchecked would likely to have lead to an even greater catastrophe than we witnessed in WW2. Also his plans for the extermination of the Jews, Slavs, Romany Gypsies etc. Hint to someone with far more twisted aims than just the political or economic.
