It wasn't a valid example since you were comparing Wilder and Joshua NOW , to Joshua and Parker when they were young pups without belts.
Wilder and Joshua are both Champs with multiple title defenses. We're talking world level champions here , not developing young novices. Why did you put forth such a weak excuse of an argument?.
I asked you to give me an example from throughout history of when two guys at this level were justified in putting off a fight until a later date. I still haven't got one because delaying or putting off a unification fight between the two top fighters of a division has never been excusable or justified.

If you looking for FINANCIAL justification, isn't Mayweather-Pacquiao the glaringly obvious recent example.

Despite Pacquaio's apparent decline in the interim, despite the loss to JMM, despite all of that, it's unlikely the fight in 2010 would have produced figures quite as astounding as what occurred in 2015.

Anyway, in history it has been the norm to string out the old "you're ducking me!" v "no, you're ducking me!" act for a few fights and some months or a year (or two), largely in order to boost interest and revenue.

    Tyson and Spinks did it.
    Haye did it with Klitschko.

And don't mistake this situation as ONLY Eddie Hearn wishing to play it like that. It's fairly obvious Wilder understands that ranting about "AJ ducking" for another couple of fights is EXACTLY what's going to make the fight worthwhile when he really wants to take it.
They are all playing the same game together. The difference is Hearn can afford to be honest about what's going on.
    It's all pantomime.

and your fighter would end up boxing at the Alabama State High School in front of two men and a dog while earning the princely sum of a balloon on a stick with a feather attached and a free chocolate donut with sprinkles on from the canteen.

Never mind though he could console himself by telling all the students how he could beat that English guy fighting on PPV who earns $30 Million a fight.

Dude this was only a year ago we are talking about. Just prior to the Wlad fight as that was when the possibility of them first fighting was seriously on the table. Hell Joshua already had a title then, I wasn't talking about when these guys were 10-0, lol, talk about moving the goal posts to suit your argument.

Hearn is looking to perhaps delay the fight 12 months max. They talked about Joshua/Parker 12 months ago but I bet you weren't then going on that this was a disgraceful duck or that it wasn't justified when that fight didn't happen back then. Why because Wlad was a better fight for Joshua, just like Parker now could be a better fight in many peoples eyes as he's more proven at a higher level than Wilder currently is.

But whatever I fully expect you to move the goal posts again and come at it at another angle to discredit my example and ignore the fact I just tore apart your argument.

Also in the context of unifying the titles the time frame that Joshua is planning for this is quicker than Wlad did it to unify all the belts other than the WBC, faster than Lewis did it when he first won a belt and finally unified with Holyfield. Only Tyson would of done it faster and he had 1 less belt to unify.

You still have not given me one example , not one , so you have not torn anything apart. Joshua had a much better fight to take against Wlad over Parker , you're 100% right.
Now the next best fight for him to take is Wilder. There is no other guy out there like Wlad he can fight that will justify him delaying the Wilder fight by 12 months. Nobody gives a rats ass about the Parker fight - YET.. Nobody batted an eye lid when Parker fought Ruiz Jr instead of AJ so that shows you how little in demand that fight was. Parker is only being used as a pawn to give AJ and Hearn a pass for wanting to bypass Wilder. All attention will be on Parker once Wilder is done with , but until then Wilder is first and foremost priority.
The entire boxing world wants Wilder , not Parker. There's thread after thread about the Wilder fight. The time for it to happen is now. Not 12 months from now.

LOL this is turning into another was like in 1776. And we know how that one turned out.
I don't really care about either fighter....I think they'd be "D" side HW's at any other time...
but I have to support Wilder as an American.

Anyway it's good for boxing to have these sorts of back and forth carping. Shows boxing is
    alive and well.

Don’t even go there . . You should learn history from outside the US before you tank yourself on that one!

When you`re the #1 everyone else has to dance to your tune. Wilder will always be 2nd best while Joshua is around. We in the U.K. understand how this must hurt American pride.

What did you learn about 1776 in the UK? King George led an infantry attack on Boston and routed
the Americans? Francis Drake sank an American fleet? King Arthur killed George Washington
with Excalibur? Winston Churchill butt f*cked Benjamin Franklin?

FULL DISCLOSURE: There wasn't a relative of mine within 4,000 miles of North America in 1776.

I gave you an example. Joshua was already a champion, Parker was one fight away from winning his belt, this was only 12 months from now the same time frame that Hearn is talking about fighting Wilder. But hey you have to nick pick right it's the only way you can justify your unreasonable argument.

You say nobody gives a rats ass about the Parker fight but once again you are simply altering facts to suit your own agenda. Parker is a big a name in boxing as Wilder is right now. Both have a career highest purse of 1.5 mill so they are similar draws, both have 1 belt, Parker actually has a better resume.

You assume the entire world wants Wilder next but guess what I've seen plenty of people say they want Parker next. Not everyone has fallen for Wilder's self promotion, just because you talk the loudest, protest the loudest, it doesn't make you the most worthy.

You have also assumed that just because Hearn doesn't want the fight right now it means he is ducking Wilder. That is a haters mentality, you've automatically assumed the worst. I personally prefer to believe Hearn when he says he wants to build the fight, while your first response is to get all hysterical and immediately pronounce the duck or as you put it bypassing.

You say the best time is now, but why? Wouldn't it be better if all the belts were on the line after Joshua beats Parker? I've said this before and you've ignored it along with many other questions I have posed. So what's better Wilder now for just some of the belts or a year or less from now for the first undisputed unification fight since Lewis/Holyfield? I know what I would prefer. I want the biggest possible event and that means all the belts.

Thats a different situation entirely. Wilder isn't a mandatory challenger like Parker was and Joshua doesn't have another fight on the magnitude of Klitschko to take. What can't you understand about that?
Parker went off to become what Wilder is now. Parker vs Joshua was premature and was in the way of the Klitschko fight. Wilder vs Joshua is the new Klitschko fight.. And no , I'm not comparing Wilder to Wlad in any way so don't jump to that conclusion.

How the tables have turned. A while back you were complaining how I was attacking you and not your points . Low and behold , here you are doing exactly that.
I never once called Hearn or AJ duckers. I only argue that the fight doesn't need to wait 12 months. I'm positive about this fight , you're not. You continually lambaste Wilder even though he's demanding the fight , you create fantasy situations where Hearn walks away from negotiations because you want to try convince others to join Team Hearn. You're goal is to defend Hearn at all costs and to belittle Team Wilder. Attitudes like that give Hearn the freedom to bypass Wilder until another 2-3 fights down the line. That sets a bad precedent throughout the sport and makes people like you an enemy of boxing as far as im concerned.
History has shown that anything can happen during 12 months in this sport. As a boxing fan , you're only concern should be names fighting names. End of.

Deontay hasn't made an offer he is running cap in hand asking for 50/50 split from a purse that AJ will generate most the cash.
    Where is.the.offer from.team bumsquad ??

Hearn obviously said no and.gave a figure he said negotiations are still ongoing, but if team bumsquad hold fast on 50/50 the fight won't happen this year.

Wilder never been on PPV not a draw in his home state and.outside the hardcore is not known well in US .... his belt is only bargaining tool 70/30 split maximum is what he should expect.

    Exactly.
Some people here have a very difficult time grasping this fact.
Wilder hasn't offered anything. He doesn't have backers nor a track record of generating PPV money.

I'm no fan of Eddie Hearn but he correctly and generously concedes that Wilder deserves to be paid OVER his current proven monetary value right now, but also correctly suggests Wilder has potential to INCREASE the full purse and (his share of it) with another fight or two build-up to raise his profile.

When Frampton was IBF Champ and Quigg was mickey mouse WBA regular , who was making the offers to who??

I seem to recall Hearn going live on Sky Sports waving around a cheque with Framptons name on it. Frampton was the bigger draw and was the fighter with the bigger profile , but it was still Hearn who was sending all the offers and putting the fight together.

Its not on Wilder to offer chit. He puts out a figure and then they negotiate around that figure. You have not a bollox notion about what is going on here. Yesterday you said its not Eddie Hearn's job to send offers. Yes , you really said that.

Please do me a favour and don't respond because your posts are a slight on the eyes ..

You're a moron. You should read my posts again and again until you understand. Not just my posts but others here who are trying to explain basic facts. You're totally clueless about the most basic business.

In your example, Hearn obviously wanted Frampton to fight Quigg .... Then, and not later. Go talk to him about it if you want to know why, it's irrelevant to AJ-Wilder.
Hearn has openly stated his preferred schedule for AJ-Wilder is a fight or two down the road. Therefore, it's up to Wilder and Co. to offer something to entice Hearn.
    It's simple enough.

I correctly said : "It's not Hearn's job to go around making Wilder offers."
You're too simple to grasp why that is correct.
Hearn ONLY has to make Wilder offers when he's trying to help the career of one of his (Matchroom's) fighters.
In the case, it was Dillian Whyte, whose career would receive a boost from getting a Wilder fight, IN HEARN'S JUDGEMENT.
And Hearn has openly stated Anthony Joshua's career would be best served with a Wilder fight 12 months from now, IN HEARN'S JUDGEMENT.

    It's simple, numbskull.

And a good day to you.
