    From Eubank jnr's own promoter

eddie goes into detail what happened in a new ifilm vid.

basically eubanks wanted to change the ppv model the same model for forch/joshua they wanted complete control of the fight and only wanted to use matchrooms name.

they wanted to pick the commentators

they wanted to double the ticket prices of a joshua fight

they did not want hearn make a commission of the net profit

they wanted control of the hotels

they wanted to change the budget they agreed in the sky meetings.

Hearn was patient with them for 3 weeks and in the end the reality was eubank's never wanted the fight.

Those are unrealistic demands and excuses. I find it hard to believe anyone would demand that outside of Fluid.

I don't know if I've ever seen a case quite like this. GGG signed off on giving Eubank a career high payday and homefield advantage, and they sabotaged it at the 11th hour by changing the script on their own promoter.

Pops Eubank may have been driven more by paternal instincts than insanity, though. I think when it came down to it, he's been too close to ring tragedies to sign his son up for GGG right now.

I do think it's funny how Hearn is only willing for his tout friends to increase the ticket prices.

Hearn is a big joke, how can he get Kell brook to face ggg. Hearn acting like its a great thing. Even though eubank snr is hard to deal with, thats no excuse to put a WW in with GGG from hearn.

And those demands are unreasonable because???

Their guy on the line, they should be able to call the shots. Why shouldn't they take a bigger share than Eddie is usually used to? There is nothing there that is an actual showstopper apart from Hearn feeling like his cut won't be big enough.

    did you watch the vid?

snr wanted to double the ticket prices of a joshua fight and at the same time spend little money on the undercard and dictate what each fighter would get match rooms name would be at stake

eddie takes 20 percent of each ppv same with joshua/froch why is the eubanks different why do they think they are bigger then joshua?

everyone knows how hard it is to work even frank knows about them.

they thought they was being cleaver in thinking that eddie was in a bad situation and would give up his rights as a promoter because he had no choice but it back fired

Like I said, even though Eubank Sr. is hard to deal with and makes unrealistic demands fair enough Eubank Jr. doesn't get the fight. But thats no excuse from Hearn to put Kell brook in there with GGG, wtf, at least get another MW from his fighter instead of a WW. What if Kell ends up in hospital or something? Hearn is gonna get ripped. Eddie doesn't care about the fighters, just about money.

They should be co-promoters if they want that kind of deal.

Seems silly to hire Hearn as a promoter, agree to the template (which is very lucrative for Hearn's fighters), and then want to do his job for him...especially after a fair set of terms have already been hammered out.
