British Reporter: ”Why don’t you match Brook up with Keith Thurman who is good and that’s what boxing fans want to see”?

Eddie Hearn: “You’re talking about “boxing fans” and NO ONE has EVER heard of Keith Thurman except “hardcore” boxing fans, (Thurman) Great Fighter, Really Wacked, Great fight for Kell Brook, but from a profile perspective (money) theirs others out there that mean more too “casual” fans. Thurman yes he’s in the mix it’s a very tough fight and difficult fight not sure if it (Thurman) will be Brooks’s first defense fight”.

    Yeah right!

Fact Kell Brook is a guy who hasn't done Jack **** in last 10 years he's been in the WW division, his whole resume is full of **** and apart from Porter who's best win is shot to **** Paulie Malignaggi (who was coming off back to back losses) all rest of his opponents are Nobodies.

What the **** is Eddie is talking about?

    Here's the FACTS!!

1)Brook hadn't fought Nobodies before he got his shot at Porter

2)Summery of Brook's resume = 32 fights, 31 nobodies, 1 decent win i.e Porter, thats 10 years of fighting at WW

3)Julio Diaz,Soto Karass would be the 2nd and 3rd best wins on Brook's resume.

4)Brook vs Porter drew 514 K viewers on showtime which was the least ever ratings for Showtime in this year, while Thurman headlined showtime's card and drew bigger ratings 747K against Julio Diaz. Thats 233K more that too for a non title fight, there you go!

5)Nobody cares about Brook in America.

6)F*** off Hearn, Stop dodging and start fighting...

FACT no one in America knew who the fvck Brook was, the ratings were based on Porter's appeal, but now everyone does and will surely tune in for his next fight.
Thurman is more well known but he had Matthysse and Figueroa on the undercard, which helped him greatly in the ratings.
Matthew Hatton one of his nobodies, he beat far worse than Canelo.
Senchenko reretired Ricky and Brook destroyed him in 4.
Thurman glass chin was almost cracked by Soto Karass,Chaves and Diaz, I can only imagine what a sharp stiff jab from Brook would do to it.

So you think Brook has a bigger appeal than Porter as a champion :-:)huh

Senchenko was shot, more like 50 year old coming off a KO loss to Paulie (lol) yes believe it or not. GTFO Did you even watch the Diaz fight against Thurman? Thurman retired him.

Atleast give decent arguments to defend this blatant ducking on Brook's part.

I don't think Brook's a bigger draw than Thurman by any means and my fact list proves that.

Yes I did but Diaz still rocked him before getting retired, but you failed to mention Diaz's 5 previous KO loses.
You have obviously not watched Senchenko-Paulie if you think that was a legit KO loss your crazy, his eye was messed up and they stopped it, he was never seriously hurt.

    :huh

He was coming off some close and competitive fights against Khan and Porter. Thurman destroyed him like non other did.

I did watch Paulie-Senchenko, and Senchenko got schooled and looked shot to sh**, you think beating that version of Senchenko who fought brook at 38, is a great deal? :huh

Atleast I can name 3 decent wins from Thurman's resume. Julio Diaz,Soto Karass and Chavez.

He has 23 wins and 21 coming off pure KO's.

Can you name 3 for Brook?

Brook beat a bunch of nobodies, but he has Porter's scalp to rectify that.
Thurman beat a bunch of nobodies, and still doesn't have a "star" on his resume.
Brook hasn't proved that much but neither has Keith so chill out.

You must be a Brit pretending to be an American :hi:
defending Brook like a leech (without Facts) saying I hate Brits.
    Location: Florida States,

Have some shame and honor :patsch

Ok how would you defend Hearn's statement that Thurman is not well known? When he's clearly the bigger name than Brook?

Hearn is a promoter he likes making money, in England he can make a shitload with Khan vs Brook, might not mean much to us, but it does there, and he doesn't want to risk Brook losing to Thurman, before he can cash in with Khan, Boxing is a business after all.
