The impression I have also^. A fight I'd very much like to see,, but interms of Golovkins career, right now the noises are than only an 'exceptional' (financially) fight will draw him away from MW. I'm still hoping to see Maravilla - GGG late in 2014, after that I'spect it's likely GGG will start looking North. - Chavez Jr seems to be the prefered option, cos of the payday, assuming they can get him before his career implodes (or he explodes - which may happen first) but an actual MW run would probably take in one or two Bika or Gonzales type fights before Froch.

golovkin should go after the big names if he wants to make it big, major props if he beats or even steps in the ring with froch and ward. i like GGG but i want him to solidify himself as a great

owe and GGG said himself the floyd and him would not be possible

Golovkin is trying to get the other champions to fight him. Right now he is fighting at 160, just like Hagler did his entire career and Hopkins for years, not to mention Monzon, etc. Why doesn't Ward fight Kovalev? How about Ward fighting Vitali or Vladimir Klitschko?

Golovkin has offered to go down to 154 to fight Void, but Void will not fight him at any weight. I don't know how Golovkin could go down to 154.

Well there has been no offer and no 'calling out' - Golovkin was asked what his 'dream fight' would be and his said FMJ 'cos he 'wants to fight the best'. Floyd hasn't 'turned him down', cos no offer has been made or is ever likely to - even if the cold war were to end tomorrow, the respective Broadcasters have invested too much in both of them.

As for making 154 GGG and Sanchez have repeatedly said he can without difficulty. He fights lighter than 'Nelo, Trout (or FWIW than Rosado did as a JMW) at about 168-170. He walks 'bout 167-8. Making 154 specially as a one off should be fairly easy, though I'd don't think he'd want to campaign there.

I'm sure he is, he ought to hope Groves doesn't have any surprises in store for the ageing Cobra

Froch would indeed be a superb fight for Golovkin, and a true test of the type I think he ain't gonna find at 160. This is a fight I would really, really like to see

Why can't Golovkin move UP and fight Froch.

Mayweather has move up plenty times...let's see if FLAMINGO LEGS has the skills and balls to move up ONCE.
