Fury is a fool to let this happen. He should be fighting AJ.

Usyk keeps changing his answer though, at The Ring awards two weeks ago he said that Fury would beat AJ lol

to think they could have fought for undisputed in 2018.

Now we're in 2025 and both are damaged goods.

Wilder v Joshua should have happened in 2018 when it actually meant something, now it’s a fight to see who is the least shot between the pair of them, might as well make the Foreman v Holmes fight, that has been “ marinating” even longer .

Fury didn't beat a Top 10 heavyweight in almost 3 years. How is he the clear number 2? Plus he's retired now.

AJ was considering the fight in 2018 and 2019 sending Wilder multiple offers but he ducked him. Then he signed the contract to fight him in March 2024, but Wilder wet the bed against Parker.

The only losses he has were two close fights against Usyk, who is the top man in the division. Who else actually beats him or has the better claim?

As for retirement... Don't blame me if I decide to take that one with a grain of salt.

Wilder also sent AJ an offer. It was promoters egos that prevented that fight more than anything else tbh.

And if AJs team still actually wanted the fight, they could have had it after Wilder lost against Parker. Wilder was game.

Hell, they're apparently "considering it" after Wilder lost again as well, so that excuse doesn't really hold water does it?

But he didn't beat anyone of significance, that's the thing. Dubois is clearly number 1. He also only lost to Usyk, but has the wins over Miller, Hrgović and AJ.

Wilder didn't send the offer. He said he got 50 million to fight AJ but he needs to accept it without even knowing the details. That's not a serious offer, that's a publicity stunt.

I agree, but Turki lost interest so the finances went to hell. Ngannou looked more game than Wilder at that point.

Turki wants to make the fight again. He didn't want it a year ago after Wilder's performance.

    Joyce loss not count ?
Wilder ducked Joshua and Joshua ducked Wilder with both fighters admitting as such, now the truth and details are out there it’s a moot point, they both ducked each other for there own personal reasons with Joshua ducking for far more money than Wilder was offered and also with an immediate rematch !

He also lost to Joyce, and has the worse loss to Usyk out of all of Usyks opponents. If Dubios gets past Parker then I might consider him number 2, but he certainly isn't number 1.

Yeah and I believe Hearn tried locking Wilder into a multi fight deal, trying to box him away from his promoter. Just imagine all the favourable AJ clauses he had in there too. If it was actually a good deal it likely would have been made.

Turki isn't the only person in the world capable of making fights you know.

It's a bit weird how "Wilder wet the bed" by losing to Parker but AJ losing his US debut to Ruiz and recently getting blasted out by Dubios somehow isn't.

Curtis Harper is going to spoil the party.
