Correct, and they hand chose Miller to showcase Joshua to the US market. When Miller tested dirty, they hand chose Ruiz, who came in on short notice, again with the purpose of showcasing Joshua to the US market.

Arum told Hearn that a Ruiz fight would be a poor advertisement because Ruiz was a short fat guy and he also warned Hearn that Ruiz was a bit better than they thought he was.

The loss to Ruiz was such an embarrassment for Joshua he has never fought in the US since. It all went up in smoke, in one night, in 2019.

It's Wilders fault that he rejected many offers to fight AJ and that's the bottom line.

We’ll just have to see. Imo the Helenius fight is of limited value as a yardstick as it was 1. 2022 2. Was a one punch KO inside 3 mins.

It was such a visual shock as well for Americans who were not familiar with AJ, to see a guy built like a greek statue beat down by a guy who looked like he ran a taco stand.

Consider? That doesn't mean ****. Every heavyweight opponent is a consideration. Might as well say we don't now yet.

Hearn would have taken the pin out of the US on his world map that night.

He pursued the lineal champion instead. That is quite reasonable even if the lineal champ wasn't as good or as difficult a fight.

That same night Joshua lost as if that loss was not bad enough for Hearn his other Golden Goose was on the same card and she also should have lost to Persoon,Taylor got gifted a decision win that night, had the result gone the right way to Persoon that would have been the worst night in Hearns career .
