    I just saw that Galahad - Martinez has a rematch clause.

    Why? Just why? He got brutally, conclusively KTFO. Galahad should have to fight at least fight an elimination bout to try again imo. This isn't even accounting for all the other house Matchroom fighters that have constant rematch clauses either. Schizophrenic rematch hunter Eddie is really starting to take the **** now.

    Tbf I'm all for rematches.

    Does my head in when a fighter loses and tries to just move on with thier career.

    I don't mind a rematch as long as it's earned or the preceding fight was very close / a close war. You should not be able to have an immediate title shot rematch after getting brutally KO'd by your past prime showcase opponent. It slows the division and shafts other deserving contenders.

    Totally disagree mate. Take Lewis vs Rahman. Had Lewis been made to work his way up again, Rahman probably loses his next defence. Lewis end up champ and then has to defend against an undeserving guy (Like Wlad vs Brewster).

    Much prefer a rematch to be immediate.

    Yet its taking him forever to make the third fight between Choco and Estrada and make the SSR vs Cuadras rematch.

    Hes too busy with average fighters like Galahad,Benn,Whyte etc and broads like Taylor instead of focusing on real talents and real fights like the SupaFly ones.

    Not sure it would be wise for Barry to take the rematch. He is clearly struggling to make the weight. He'll need a brutal training camp to make weight and have a chance to beat Kiko . And then what - he likely wouldn't defend again.

    Better he moves up now to a weight he can stay at.

    But i don't really care - for now i'm just ecstatic Kiko won.

    They should put in the contracts that IF fight was with brutal KO, one sided and with no controversy, then winning side have the right not to take the rematch.

    Hearn obviously likes Kiko. That's why he wants to throw another life-changing payday at him like he was doing repeatedly with Linares a few years back.
