That don't sound like a bad idea but I think that he could stay at 154 and still get some good fights with Haymon.

That is Brook's problem. Nobody tells him get out of shape in between fights or eat junk food.

Furthermore, he has always been a CAREER welterweight so this whole "unhealthy" talk is just nonsense and an excuse.

He wants a physical advantage over Khan. That's all it comes down to.

Hurts me to admit it but you’re absolutely right, personally I think he’s plenty to give at 154 but it’s what he believes that matter and I hope I’m wrong but he and Khan both look like they’re on the same trip with no interest in a title and long overdue match up between a shot Khan and a disinterested Brook.......whooping doo.
If you wanna have a pop at Hearn then it was letting him fight Golovkin out of desperation, only six months later his big fight at Welterweight was there against Spence but Golovkin ruined him physically and more importantly mentally which was sad to see as I’ll bet over 90% on here all thought the ggG thing was madness.

Or perhaps as always suspected Kell Brook was using some nefarious methods to make weight at 147 as you wouldn’t call him small at 154lbs.
Matthew Macklin said for it’s worth Khan v Brook is still the fight to make but Khans only chance is in first four rounds and Brook probably hasn’t got twelve rounds in him at Welterweight lol

One big problem with that.........Amir Khan is an out and out liar, get the impression Hearn is sick to the back teeth of Amir Khan already esp after his delusional interview in the ring the other night,Hearn say what you like about him isn’t about having shot to bits delusional fighters on his books as he’s had a taste of that with Eubank jnr.
Personally I don’t see Brook v Khan ever happening as Khan can’t seem to be able to bare the fought of losing to Brook.
Gotten to point where I don’t care about either as Khan could of fought Garcia again when he was mandatory and Brook has been given a gift with his ranking at 154

    Yay another Eddie Hearn thread!

Hearn delivers the fights Brook asked for - "Hearn is selling him out!".
Hearn unable to deliver the undisputed HW fight just yet - "Hearn is protecting his cash cow!".

And to all the idiots claiming Brook should campaign at 147, are they even aware of what is going on?

Brook is finished at 147. Spence is my favorite fighter right now, but his performance as the reason he won against Brook was only secondary to the toll that constantly draining has took on Brook's body over the years.

Brook has always been a 150/154 guy killing himself to make 147 his entire career. Look at the size difference between Brook and Porter when they fought.

Being British ruined Brook's career. When he won that belt from Porter, none of the US guys tried taking it back.....They knew that the probably were not good enough too, and as Brook wasn't from the US they got away with it.

He is an Ingle boy afterall so it wouldn't surprise me at all that he is on some type of 'enhancement'

Brook should have become a 154lb fighter then instead of campaiging at 147 and fighting smaller guy.

He should have gone up after beating Porter, when it became clear Thurman/Garcia were in fear of him.

I've said this multiple times, but Spence is Brook 2.0.....

Who will not make the same mistake, purely because he can't be avoided like Brook was.

He has to take responsibility and be more professional outside of the ring. But I've heard stories of how much he's struggled to make the weight even when he's been disciplined and had fights in quick succession. I don't think it's nonsense or an excuse. Personally, I think he should have moved to JMW a good few years ago. But I understand why he tried to keep on making WW as it was a stronger division.

Dave Coldwell way way back was calling Brook a 154 fighter.

As soon as he struggled - politically and professionally - getting fights at WW he should have just stepped up and restarted his campaign.
