Eddie Hearn is a disgrace to the sport of boxing!

He said that in an off he cuff remark in a radio interview or something, there's absolutely zero evidence that this offer has been reciprocated to Eddie behind closed doors. Coming from a man as renowned for posturing as Wilder is (he has said some monumentally stupid things in his career lately); it doesn't really mean much in the slightest.

I don't like the whole "you can enter the ring when I invite you stuff from Joshua" - it's arrogant and stupid. But I thoroughly understand Heart's unwillingness to allow Wilder to steal the show with his pantomime bull**** without a contract in place. If he allows it, but then Wilder reneges and demands 50/50, it would only open the door to even more hate and criticism from idiots around the world, oblivious to the obstacles of making a deal.

I also think it's rich that Wilder is given a pass for sulking at home when he's told he can't get in Joshua's face all the while acting like Whyte (soon to be his mandatory) has no business doing the same. I've given him his credit for beating Ortiz, he's the De facto #2 in the division, but hat doesn't mean I have to gloss over all of his hypocritical and delusional antics.

 

What a great post that is!!!!!!!! You can tell this is completely unbiased, an honest opinion from somebody who sees the full picture. Most of us are a bit guilty of siding too much one way or the other with this Wilder AJ business.

 

Almost sounds sarcastic...

We all have our favourites (I don't know if anybody's noticed but I'm quite fond of a couple of Ukrainians), and we all have guys we don't like for that matter but that doesn't mean we have to abandon any notion of reason or common insight when the fights we want take longer than we want to make happen. I trust Wilder and Hearn equally, which is to say about as far as I can spit. But it really wasn't that long ago that Wilder was demanding 50% and as far as I know there hasn't been any official offer from Wilder lowering that demand. But all of his cheerleaders are chomping at the bit to criticise and accuse Hearn and Joshua of X and Y all the while swallowing everything Wilder says as gospel? And because of what; the words put into Wilder's mouth in the spur of the moment on some radio show? That right there is bull****.

 

Hearn is the best promoter out there.
