He did say on one of his Kugan interviews that he used to pay him something like £300 per week when it was I Film London and properly small time, so yeah deffo he was right at the beginning of this shift from traditional to new nedia. But it's more down to mutual benefit now. I'm guessing Hearn interviews get lots of YouTube views....

Didn't see you or 99% of people on here say he was top class before the fight. Hearn got Ruiz in who boxes on another promotion instead of getting someone like Michael hunter in who he has worked with many times because they thought Ruiz was a dosser and hunter may have been a problem. Cherry pick gone wrong.

Hearn could have made easier match, with excuse original well matched fight blah blah was made with Miller but PEDs found in Millers tests.

However fact is AJ putting his jaw out there for any sizeable heavyweight to bounce a punch off, is going to result in him hitting the canvas, even Schwarz would have likely done so.

Not at all Emperor Edward Longshanks has one of the sharpest minds in the game and he's also arguably the best looking promoter in the game too. Personally I have him at #2 behind the dashingly handsome lovable Russian (Kyrgyzstan born) rogue Al Siesta who the gods graciously blessed with 50s matinee idol good looks ala Cary Grant ala Rock Hudson

You can tell he and Joshua care way too much about social media and your quite right after Miller was sacked they had every right to find a showcase opponent to look good against.
    It's admirable but stupid

No, you have to take into account that they had already sold lots of tickets for the fight with Jarrel Miller. They had to stay at his level or better to salvage the event, which they did at Joshua's expense.

That's what he thought he had, Arum is a lot smarter, he does his research.

It's come to something when "fans" are denigrating a promoter for organising a competitive fight!
I'm sure Ruiz at least is grateful he got his deserved shot.
Are people wanting the division to be full of over-protected, undefeated 30-somethings!?!
