Eddie Hearn: I've never said there was a December 1st deadline. I just want talks to start.

No the reason is, and I've said this time and time again, the weird cult like following that we call Matchroom FC.

No other promoter has such a weird following like that because as you say, they all talk shite.

Why people support promoters is just beyond my comprehension.

I don’t mind Eddie. I think he’s done a lot of good for British boxing. But I don’t understand why Finkle would sit down and discuss anything at this stage, when his guy is about to fight Tyson.

I understand that Eddie is basing the deal on if Wilder was to beat Tyson. But we don’t know what it says in the contract between Finkle and Hearn. For all we know, even if Wilder blasted Tyson out in a round, he may be contractually obligated to give Tyson an immediate rematch in the U.S. early next year. We don’t know.

I don’t know what’s happening. But I’d rather Finkle issued a statement saying that he doesn’t want to discuss anything until after the Tyson fight.

Looking from Eddie’s perspective, does he want to tie Wilder in now before he fights Fury, knowing that he can offer him less now, than what he’d have to pay if Wilder wins spectacularly?

    I don’t know.

I’m trying to objectively look from both sides. I don’t know where the blame lays. But if I was Finkle, I think that AJ would be the last thing on my mind at this stage.
