Just saw an article where AJ is saying he doesn’t want to wait till December to know if he’s fighting Wilder or not. Seems like Hearn is still pushing for Wilders side to agree to that flat fee without knowing who the winner will be against Wilder and Fury. AJ put on a good performance this weekend and now it’s going to be downplayed because of these types of public shenanigans. If they want to really prove there serious about unifying and that they really want to be the best they should offer a contract for the winner of December 1st to fight in April for a 50/50 split. What do you guys think about this situation?

How much more time does Wilder need FFS!!! Wembley is already booked for April 13th. That means a deposit down payment for the venue at a likely cost of some serious dollar. On top of that, AJ will want to begin camp preparations in early December as he has already stated.
Hearn Snr. Is going to be meeting Finkel in October to try and renegotiate a deal for the Wilder fight at Wembley in April. If nothing positive comes of that meeting then the Wilder fight will not happen in April and they'll go to plan B. Nothing underhand or devious about any of that, it's quite simply a forward thinking career path and strategy.

I dont understand how anyone can think Wilder or Fury will get a 50/50 split with Joshua. Dillian Whyte does bigger shows/views, are they high?:lol:

Fury is worth 20% (and that's generous)
    Wilder is worth 33% (maximum)

They should accept the above and get it down if/when the results come through.

And fix your title mate because -
    • If it wasn't for Hearn AJ wouldn't be where he is today.
    • If it wasn't for Hearn the UK wouldn't be the capital of boxing today.
    • If it wasn't for Hearn 80 000 wouldn't be filling up Wembley.

    Be truthful.

This is one of the dumbest posts I’ve read on here and that’s saying something.

No Joshua doesn’t need to “begin camp preparations” in early December for an April 13 fight FFS. That’s 19 weeks. Nobody is in camp for 19 ****ing weeks. He doesn’t need to know his opponent until the end of January at the latest.

It’s completely unreasonable to expect Wilder to agree to a fight next year before the biggest and toughest fight of his career to date. Contractually and legally it’s probably not even possible because there is a rematch clause in the Fury fight. If Fury wins, Wilder has a rematch clause. No one is going to agree to a fight before that fight has finished. It would be moronic to do so because if Wilder wins it, his commercial value will soar.

Eddie knows this and is deiberately sabotaging the fight.

Anyone with half a brain knows that Fury ain't gonna win because, for one you don't prepare for a world title challenge after a near 3 year lay off, doing drugs, eating yourself into obesity and contemplating suicide every waking hour by fighting an unranked cruiserweight and a guy who got slept by Kevin Johnson.

The nearer the fight gets, the more this is gonna dawn on Fury and at that point I expect a pullout by Fury or flat out fight cancellation.

Another thing, I said Joshua would want to start planning, not actually going into camp. By this Joshua likely also illuded to negotiating the fight for April 13th. Joshua isn't into dancing to the other guys fiddle cuz guess what, he's in a position to not give a rats ass about what any potential opponent thinks or wants.

What sort of plans does he have to make? You think he needs to hire out a gym? He trains at the English Institute of Sport used by the GB Olympic Boxing team and can use it whenever he wants. His trainer Rob McCracken doesn't train any other pros. What sort of plans does he need to make exactly? He is a multimillionaire with a management team who can organise anything for him whenever he wants. Stop clutching at straws trying to justify Hearn's ridiculous deadline for signature.

We don't know if Fury is going to pull out or not. If he does then it is a different story. Fury is a live dog in that fight. You are embarrassing yourself trying to justify the contract deadline.

How much credit are the Beoncey fanboys gonna start jizzing all over him IF he beats Fury(that IF is eluding to the fight happening in the first place by the way as the result is a foregone conclusion anyway) given the fact that Fury is nowhere near his best, Ill prepared given his near 3 year hiatus and massively overhyped given his relatively poor resume.....just curious.

Why the **** should Joshua or Hearn need to continuously throw Wilder and his team a line just to be continuously slapped in the face. How exactly does that benefit Joshua's career progression by waiting on wilder to grow a pair, find his pen and sign a ****ing contract

Matchroom want to start dialogue because they know how slow Wilder's team are. They took an age to even reply the first time, they started negotiations back when AJ was fighting Takam. Why would they risk leaving it until after Fury v Wilder? If negotiations turn sour again they are left with a Wembley date and will have to over pay the next opponent as they can leverage against them being desperate. It's just being professional.

Shelly Finkel has come out today saying he does not want to meet with them now. Shelly Finkel is sending emails to Barry saying he wants a real offer before they meet. Shelly is the one delaying and being unprofessional, he refuses to talk to Eddie Hearn. You set up meetings to discuss what you want and to get the fight over the line. He is flat out refusing to do this. If I was Wilder I would dump Shelly Finkel as soon as my contract with him is done. Finkel is supposed to be managing and representing his client, he isn't doing that. So what is he being paid for?

Isn't Finkle the one who wanted to open up talks in October? How long do they need to work out a deal? It's not like they haven't already been back and forth for months. There's no reason why they can't agree a deal "subject to" Wilder beating Fury. If Fury wins, the rematch clause comes into effect, so April would be out of the question anyway.

And there you go... you can’t offer any counter arguments or reasonable justifications if that ridiculous deadline so you’ve thrown out an idiotic rhetorical question in reply. Log off son, you’ve been schooled.

There is simply no reason why the fight can’t be negotiated after the Fury fight. That’s how business in this sport ought to be conducted.

Dilian Whyte was interviewed yesterday by a couple of American boxing Journos and showed them a mobile text from Beoncey himself saying that even if he got made official mando to his WBC (Wilder Boreoff ****ybollox) belt, he would still make Whyte wait another 2 years, bare in mind that this would be a record payday at the time in Wilders career. The evidence just keeps piling up that Wilder is just cruising along until he gets his retirement pay off.....ducking all reasonable and justifiable challengers along the way...

How is Fury gonna win that fight? 3 years of wasting your prime getting fat, drug addled and manic doth not a better fighter make.
