Whyte is a 6'4 250 pound HW, that would be the reason for fighting Whyte not the 6'2 225 pound Povetkin.

It's a win win fight for Hearn.

Joshua v Wilder/Whyte winner at Wembley in summer 2018, builds up the fight and keeps the belt in house so its well worth a multimillion pound offer. Meanwhile Joshua fights his WBA mandatory (Ustinov?)

Wilder wants 7 million? what planet is he on? this moron is fighting Stiverne for 1 million and nobody cares.. the numbers will be bang average at best, the win will mean nothing and he has literally no leverage in negotiations for an AJ fight.

Wilder is being offered a career high payday for Whyte, a career high payday and it still isn't good enough.

Is Wilder stupid? Serious question, is he stupid?

This is exactly what will happen with Joshua, Wilder says he wants the fight but will want ridiculous money and basically price himself out.

I pulled the exact same face as Whyte in that thumbnail when I heard "Wilder wants 7 million"

You always fight someone whos similar ,fighting povetkin gives Wilder not much in preperation for Joshua. I actually think Whyte is the tougher fight for wilder than povetkin who i think is to short for wilder in both height and reach.

Wilder wants no part of Whyte, they could offer him the 7million and he would STILL turn it down.

They have 100% lined up Wilder to fight Breazele next after Stiverne, that's why they have him on the same show.

Wilder and his team are a bad joke.

Povetkin outboxes and stop Wilder, and Whyte.

Povetkin is more skilled and punches harder than Whyte.

Povetkin multi gold medal winner, proven top fighter.

Whyte best win is Chisora who Povetkin would outbox and stop.

that's what I like about Eddie Hearn & IFL TV. I genuinely believe he enjoys doing those IFL TV interviews on a weekly basis.

it's a shame that promoters in North America don't do the same. as a boxing fan, I enjoy those Hearn/IFL TV interviews. is it too much to ask for Oscar de la Hoya, Lou diBella or Bob Arum to do similar things?

Wilder is a moron. Does he seriously think fighting guys like Stiverne, Molina, Washington, etc. is gonna raise his profile and earn him respect among boxing fans. I guess he figures he fights bums long enough, people will appreciate him and see he's like 49-0 down the road or something; and thinks he's special. 49-0 and 49 knockouts! wow...he's amazing.

    pfft ya right.

Them three are so boring, tame and Unless Angry dont have the charisma and personality as Hearn.Arum can be a bit of a joker, but at his age,i doubt the Heart will last long,Di Bella, when angry along with that Schaffer can have that entertainment, but they wont reveal anything, because they are not in charge,Haymon is above them and has all the Info. Then the Golden boy Himself, like watching paint dry.

''They just want me to come to England to fight Dillian Whyte. They know I'm gonna beat him up, they know it. I'm just gonna straight beat him up, they know it! They just wanna see me back in the ring and I understand that. I ain't gonna get no credit for beating a Dillian Whyte let's just be real. I'm gonna beat his ass and they just wanna compare me with AJ, that's all they wanna do they wanna compare us. They know I'm gonna whoop his ass but they wanna see how bad and how fast''

Wilder doesn't want a career high payday and would rather carry on is BUMSQUAD club....its lesser money but safer. Its the same fear he has that Khan has for refusing to fight Brook....same logic is behind it - lose this and his career is on the rocks...and he really does go back to fighting for peanuts. Doesn't want any risky fights. He thought he'd get past old man Ortiz so got a bit brave, now no fault of his own that's gone up in smoke, so now its back to cans and play the longer safer game in the hope one day he'd get the AJ pension ca$hout fight.

Wilder does not want to fight Whyte, he is afraid. Wilder can't fight! Joshua will knock him out and Whyte is a real threat! Wilder wants to fight winos from the alley. 5 voluntary title defenses in a row!
