    Im
I’m critical of Wilder, not exactly a fan.

But I don’t for one second think he is scared.

I think it’s his handlers, I think the only reason the fight was planned with Ortiz was because either way the belt would stay with Haymon.

I think his team know it’s a risk fighting Whyte and so collectively I think they want to risk it against Joshua for a lot more money.

Wilder needs to take boxing lessons before fighting Joshua for sure!

So, it either means he's stupid or he doesn't believe his own words, because if he really believes this in combination what he said before about him getting no credit for whoever he fights, this is a win-win situation for him.
    An "easy" fight
    His biggest payday by far
Gets the Joshua fight after the "easy" win
And people wouldn't have given him credit anyway, so no loss there

Still he doesn't take the fight, and probably fights another pushover for much less money, that probably gives him more trouble as he should.

So he's either stupid, a liar, way too much ego or Haymon just forbids him to fight Whyte overseas unless there's cashout money in it. (15% of 7M = 1.05M)

After seeing Parker vs Fury, you can bet Hearn is begging to get that fight next. Aj vs Parker Wilder vs Whyte same card in the UK, summer showdown at Wembley with AJ and the winner of Wilder/Whyte. Yes thats correct, im automatically putting down that AJ beats Parker. I dont see Parker as a threat, dont think hes dropped an opponent since his slight move up in class, i really question how heavy his hands are.

I completely agree, I don't understand Wilder, Whyte isn't exactly a monster, he isn't blowing fighters away and looking amazing.

Even on here Whyte gets mixed reviews, by British boxing fans too, but none of those reviews are outstanding, at best he is seen as a solid heavyweight.

For a career high payday I'm absolutely amazed Wilder hasn't jumped all over it, to ask for 7 million is ridiculous and he has made himself look a fool.

Which leads me to Joshua, what on earth is he going to ask for a Joshua fight? If he believes Whyte, with no titles, no huge wins, no real fanbase, in an average venue is worth 7 million what the hell is Joshua worth to Wilder?

If and when Hearn/Joshua do put in on Wilder then he will price himself out of a Joshua fight, Hearn is never paying him 20-30 million to fight Joshua, that's not happening, Wilder isn't the draw, Joshua is.

This proposed Whyte fight has shown Wilder up for what he is.. Wilder fans must now admit he doesn't really want the Joshua fight, if he did he'd be doing all he could to get it, Wilder has just been calling out Joshua to try and raise his own profile, that's all.

Whyte has very limited boxing skills & thats being kind, but what he does have is heart. Wilder knows this that does bother him, look at the state of Stiverne & he classes that mess as one of his toughest opponents...come to think of it ...

I love Dillian Whyte, he is hot headed but all heart. Is there anyone he wouldn't fight?

Probably has more fans than Wilder.

I reckon he'd fight anyone on any given notice. He is not scared of AJ at all, even though he lost. He would take anyone on and make it a brawl.

Wilder made pretty clear (today as a matter of fact), that he'll come to the UK and fight Whyte if Hearn signs a contract that he'll get AJ immediately after. He also made it clear he would gladly take the fight in the UK, or anywhere in the world for that matter, so not sure what else you'd want from Wilder's camp?

Povetkin has struggled with tough big guys.Whyte can box in better angles and has fast feet .Povetkin is a stationary target, which is going to make a far more easier fight for Wilder . Povetkin is more skilled with technical punching besides body shots which are going to far effect Wilder more than small Povetkin trying to reach his head. THATS how you defeat wilder first is body shots bc he has terrible balance and whyte by far is one of the best body puncher in the division.

Povetkin is severly limited unless you just stand in front of him, wilder is not that fighter,an aggressive whyte poses more difficulties and unknowns bc of unpredictability.

We will see ,i think whyte stops Helenius before rnd 10 and shoows more power in this one.

Why is he trying to package the AJ fight into the whyte fight?

Fight and beat whyte then we can talk about AJ
