Long term a business putting out a weak product with dwindling customers isn't going to succeed. Done alright so far because investors were putting money in subscription viewer apps but look at Netflix even that is dwindling.

He made a terrible business decision.

Like has always been said, as long as people keep buying then you will keep getting served shite. It's the same with people moaning about the government have Downing Street parties while they were walking around in a mask and not seeing their friends and family because they'd been ordered to do so. A lot of you need to understand that whether it's Eddie Hearn telling you Derek Chisora is a PPV fighter or Boris Johnson telling you to stay in lock down while he has a massive p1ss up, the reason why unscrupulous people like this treat you like a mug is because you are one.

We do know and we have a right to object to the fleecing of PPV Mugths with Pudding Chisora, Pudding Whyte and Paint Dry Parker on Box Office when they should really be paid 1/10th of those purses for non title fights.

Dwindling? Netflix lost 200k subscribers in one Quarter. Its not dwindling its just shareholders have this ridiculous idea that growth never ends.

You have the right to simply not buy it. That's the biggest objection one can make. Nobody is forced to buy it yet many will complain and still pay.

Its not just the money its the opportunity to become a business which operates in multiple regions.

With DAZN matchroom have a broadcaster ready to go in various regions. That wouldn't be possible with resigning with sky as they would then need to try and get a broadcast deal in each individual country.

Can pay, won't pay and will never pay - seen through Earn's Pay per Puddings years and years ago.

The same goes for all Box Office where I have subscribed to a Sports Broadcaster.

Bar or spot of fishing down the river depending on the actual event.

He needs abit of Adam Smith to him. Coming across quite unlikeable in interviews at the moment.

Hearn used to be quite tongue in cheek but now he’s just turned into a dickhead.

Are people seriously arguing that Joyce vs Parker is a bigger fight than Chisora vs Parker.

Eddie Hearn was right with his comment.

People don't seem to have an understanding how the PPV model works. Joyce is not anywhere near the draw Chisora has been. I have no idea how anyone would try and argue that Joyce can draw fans like Chisora could.

Joyce vs Parker is the better fight and I don't think anyone would dispute that. It isn't a bigger fight than Chisora vs Parker and PPV sales will show that.

If there’s one thing I cannot stand in life it is when people cannot be objective because of bias or personal circumstance.

Classic example for me is when I’m talking football with pals and they are totally blinkered in the opinions they express.

Hearn is a businessman and he’s looking after his business interests but that’s no defence for the constant hypocrisy that comes out of his mouth.

If Joyce was a free agent tomorrow, Hearn would be the first one on the phone to him with his tongue ready for action.

Again though we,re sitting blaming hearn when its frank putting it on as ppv.

As i,ve always said....this is just the reality of it. If you want to regularly see contender v contender against each other....your gonna need to fund it cause no one else will. The reality is before ppv became mainstream in recent years.....fighters we,re mainly avoiding the contender fights as best as they could... holding out for that big money shot. Theres a reason why whyte and chisora have fought better opposition in the last few years than say pulev fought his whole career for example.

What do people want from boxing....a slow moving sport that rarely features contender v contender fights for say their normal sky subscription. Or a fast moving sport with contenders fighting contenders regularly. If you want the latter...you,ll need to fund it.

Thats pretty much what it comes down to.

I think the biggest concern tho should be the quality of these cards. The quality from frank and eddie is going down at an alarming rate to the point the undercards are shockingly bad. That and the price point. Why cant parker v joyce not be say a tenner.

But arguing against ppv is a waste of time imo unless your happy with a slow moving sport where contender rarely meets contender etc...because thats exactly what you,ll get without ppv. The value for a contender is fighting a guy who has no chance against him....keeps the 0....one step closer to the big money fight....and his names enough to generate a half decent little pay day for himself without any real risk and needing to pay the opponent too much.

Eddie never caused that...the boxers themselves just started to realise the smart move for their careers as time went on.

Take ppv away tomorrow...parker will go back fighting the low risk guys again waiting for a big fight shot. Joyce will probably be waiting forever for a shot. Hes barely managed a shot with ppv. They wont take that risk off their own back. Or not regularly enough anyway.
