There was tons of negativity. Not about human rights but about the geography of holding a fight between 2 English fighters thousands of miles away.

It's not just Saudi. Watching telly recently I saw a British soldier being flogged by order of his British Officer. That man was a fella called Patrick Harper who was a brave man but sometime later I discovered it was an episode of a show featuring fictional characters and is called "Sharpe" and it is set 100 years ago. I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Correction! Apparently it was 200 years ago.

They actually literally CRUCIFY people in Saudi Arabia for certain crimes.
    That's Old School.
I think they behead them first though, which is more humane.

To be fair, the Americans had the electric chair and gas chamber is recent times, which is pretty macabre too.

Personally I like to watch a good old English hanging.

I was thinking about a few days in Blackpool in December but not sure which is worse.

94 was Wycombe right? I still hear the stories off my mother now.
01 I knew we’d lose, Bolton were different gravy at the time, how it changes eh!

05 is the one that still pains me. Beat West Ham 3 times that season, a Claude Davis slip, and their keeper not getting a red card later, and we still haven’t been to the ‘promised land’.

Back on topic, I think Cardiff is a cracking City. Never had an issue myself, plenty of bars and pubs and some of the women are cracking.

Bang on, went Cardiff with West Ham three years on the trot and it ****s all over a day out at Wembley.

    Wembley is an utter cesspit...

I would find it absolutely hilarious if AJ hurts Ruiz, and Hairn jumps up screaming totally forgetting about his snuck in Budweiser in his hand, even better if he wins and he starts swigging out of it in the background whilst AJ is being interviewed!!!

For me just shows what a fraud and act the whole AJ bandwaggon has been.

"Keeping it local" and such nonsense.

Bunce made a comment that people have brought into AJ from the beginning and made him incredible wealthy from a very early point of his career. To repay his people by having his biggest fight and potentially defining fights of his career in some soulless **** hole in the desert that will be an absolute nightmare to go to is a joke.

He has used the public and literally has no loyalty to them at all.

Personally I would like to see AJ sparked out. And if his old man can spangled Eddie in the ring after that would be a massive bonus.

Also "well America is more expensive to get to"

Yes but a lot of UK sports/boxing fans dream of going with a UK fighter to the states to see them in New York or Vegas for a massive title fight. What a great experience it would be.

No one dreams of going to ****ing Riyadh to watch a fight.

If you in anyway believe this is for any other reason than greed and money, I wish I was as a gullible idiot as you. As life would be so pleasant in that bubble.

Andy can't have made much from the first fight, sponsorship deals apart.

    US tax at 39%?
    Haymon 15%
    Trainer 10%

Over 60% gone immediately from his 6 mill, so around 2.5 million left? No wonder they are holding out.
