He will of course pay his taxes AFTER paying Haymon, his trainer, his camp expenses, his Snickers supply etc but yeh I get what you're saying he probably took home 50% which is about standard.

In the UK, the highest tax bracket is 45 percent, which is what comes off the top of every AJ purse before giving trainer/manager their cuts (which is probably capped, but still) and any other expenses.

I think the US is 37 percent.

You're luckier than you realise. 10% of the UK stadium crowd at matchroom cards are sent to forced labour camps and forced into a life of slavery. If you hadn't vaulted that fence you would be down a hearn owned mine now in Sierra Leone digging for ore and precious metals. :(

Check the small print on the tickets, it's all there.

I've been to a few big fights in the last few years and don't mind spending a bit to go to NY , Vegas (much prefer NY) or Europe.

But i'm not going to go to a place i won't feel relaxed, can't drink and worst of all has a terrible human rights record.

This is all about the money and while i quite like Eddie's cheeky chappie ****ney persona he clearly is a lying snake in this case. It's all about cashing out as he know's there's a strong chance fat boy will pummel his man again.

I hoe this bombs and he get his just "deserts" . lol.

It doesn't come off the top at all, all those expenses you mention are tax deductible so tax would be paid after all those outgoings.

It would most likely be paid to a company belonging to the fighter and not to the fighter personally , so his company will pay tax on the profits ie after expenses (trainer, manager, promoter, training camps, etc).

Millions and tens of millions are involved here so you can bet your bottom dollar they pay less than the top brackets you mention too.

Yeah I heard that. I’d no idea Hearn was so passionate about the Saudi boxing scene.

Funny seeing everyone bemoaning Saudi and their human rights record. Do people not realise what the UK and the US get upto in the Middle East?

Come on people, wake up. Stop feeding into the Sky News and The Sun propaganda and be consistent.

That doesn’t mean we should support another country that abuses civil rights.

It’s complete Bolox. One year Hearn is promising to keep aj in the uk for the fans. One year later he’s banging on about promoting the Saudi boxing scene with aj.

Just admit they paid the most and that’s the ONLY reason you even set foot over there.

Maybe they will schedule a big public square beheading execution at the weigh-in to spice things up.

A few months ago they lopped of 37 in one day. Couple of them were teenagers. On pace for more than 100 this year. Nice country.

    Check this card,
    It cannot fail,
    We've Katie Taylor,
    In a veil,
AJ is back and won't be beat,
And now he fights in a white sheet,
Those Saudi dollars in I'll rake,
Thanks to my deal with the new Sheikh,
    And petrodollars for Matchroom,
Are set to see my business boom,
Just don't come if you even think,
That you'll be able to have a drink,
The Brit fans have been overlooked,
I've got my cash they can get ****ed,
