Wallin wasn't a bum he gave Fury a very hard fight and came close to beating him that was a solid win.

Joshua only fought Helenius because he was a late replacement for Whyte who failed a test.

Originally Joshua was going to fight Whyte, Wallin, Wilder, but Whyte failed a test and Wilder lost his big fight vs Parker.

Say what you want about Joshua but I don't think he's ever really ducked anyone.

Hearn has always hankered for the Fury fight for Joshua but as his last fight,Hearn is not bothered win lose or draw for Joshua, the Fury fight would literallly be the last roll of the dice for Hearn to make big money with Joshua and he has kept it up his sleeve for a long time . Do not be surprised either if Hearn was to make the Wilder fight for Joshua whilst they wait for the Usyk v Fury fight !

The Wilder fight makes sense for AJ.

The Dosser is 1-4 in his last 5 fights and none of those fights were even competitive sans 1 round against Belly

AJ has fought 7 world champions in 32 fights

The Dosser has fought 4 in 48 fights and 1 of them was shot to bits, 1 was Stiverne and the other 2 were Belly and J-Park who should be 0-4 against.

So he's only beaten one world champion who wasn't shot to bits in 48 fights and they were sick in the first fight

I don't want to hear Bum Dosser's name ever mentioned again on this forum. He's completely irrelevant

They maneuvered the division to get that shot and there was nothing in that 5 round beatdown to suggest Joshua could ever beat Dubois.

On that performance Fury would school Joshua but the shot to pieces Wilder would be a soft enough target now and ironically, even though it would be damaged goods vs damaged goods, enough casuals would still pay for Joshua-Wilder to make it profitable.

Agree and they probably should both retire afterward.

As I said, fast Eddie, the modern Fon King. AJ needs to ignore anything Hearn says.

From the latest video here are the most likely next fights for AJ in order

1 - Fury whether he beats Usyk or doesn't they are desperate for this payday

2 - Wilder even though he's had two bad losses and looked like crap in both Matchroom know it's a big money fight and very winnable

3 - Whyte he's very inactive and well past his best but a name and straight forward win

4 - Any boxer who doesn't hit hard with poor movement so AJ can look good

5 - Uni students that AJ had a verbal fight with - will be spun as unfinished business

6 - Ty Booth because of some videos he posted years ago

7 - David Price actually scratch that he has a big right hand more like Audley Harrison at his best he's as good as Lennox Lewis Eddie Hearn quote

8 - Only if he has to because Turki demands it Daniel Dubois but this is very reluctant as his whole team know if has no chance

Hearn isn't looking for another Wallin or Franklin type opponent next for AJ. It seems he wants to throw AJ in with Dubois again or Fury. Maybe Hearn realizes his stable isn't necessarily as strong as it was a few years ago and he's only really attached to the top heavyweight fights now through the patronage of Turki.
Why run the risk of AJ being chinned by Alen Babic in a run-out in front of half empty O2 Arena in a half price PPV, when you have have him chinned by Dubois again or Fury at Wembley Stadium or Riyadh for top dollars?

Hot take — less danger to AJ to fight the loser there. He needs to stay away from punchers.
