Eddie Hearn: Reached out to Klitschko team - we love the fight!

I love this fight. Wlad ko 7. Biggest fight in the HW division for me.

 

Hearn is just hyping his fraud, no intention of fighting Wk.

 

I could go for that. Could be a fun fight.

 

Hearn is using Wlad for publicity.

Agree its not likely to happen but does AJ really need the publicity ?

That is the job of the promoter to constantly build the public profile of their boxer. Ultimately they are doing it so they get more people following the boxer and more money for themselves.

Associating your fighter with another high profile one, is an old trick that they all play.

 

Hearn is throwing Joshua,s name in there because there is a good chance the belts Fury has may be taken off him and the obvious choice for 1 person to fight for those belts is the guy who was already guna fight for those belts.

 

I think it might happen.

 

I don't believe Hearn's serious.
It's just so when they fight Eric Molina he can say "we tried to get Wlad Klitschko".

 

Usually I'd say that it's just name dropping for publicity, but Eddie Hearn might just make the fight. He put Brook against Golovkin, AJ definitely has a better chance of beating the old Klitschko than Brook had against GGG. If AJ's team believe Wlad is shot it could be a good matchup from their POV.

 

Hearn had nothing to lose by putting Brook against GGG. Not even the same scenario with his protected and coddled Joshua.

 

But Brook against Golovkin was too much to win and nothing to lose.
