Actually MVC has come to his senses,I'm telling MVC ain't the troll he's been made out to be,he's one guy who's come on here and publically showed his disgust at Wilder. CST80 what can I say,I bow to his superior boxing knowledge and clearly he's seen something in AJ that he thinks isn't worthy of the hype, that said when someone like CST80 calls out Charles Martin to beat AJ I'm inclined to think he was unwell that week lol
So by the very same token fighting the Buffet King is an even bigger joke, you know this full well and I'm sure you don't want that fight so I guess you're expecting Wilder to drop the WBC belt for the same reasons right?
Fair enough on MVC! Regarding CST... He has good boxing knowledge, no doubt but his views on AJ are warped due to blind hate... I think even if AJ was undisputed hw champ CST would have bad to say about him!
Fatass Baby tweeted something to the effect that we wanted to toss salad on Hearn's English Muffin...
Oh well I said at the time that there was some shady **** going on there making the champ Furey drop his IBF belt after what a week was it? I'm a fan of AJ and Hearn as it goes but when that belt became available between Martin and Glaskov and ultimately ended up round AJs waist I felt sure then as I do now that it was manufactured to be so. Lennox at the time thought it was too soon for AJ and said if he wins it he would be forced to defend it against the likes of Furey,Ortiz,Wilder and in his opinion he felt that he needed to learn his craft more,as it happens I think AJ has proved himself a worthy champion which is why nobody apart from a few trolls and boxing Ego believes this BS from Wilder. Time to step up Wilder, don't expect him to fight any top ten yet just needs to be in fights where he's not 80/20 favourite to win,I believe he'd beat guys like Whyte,Miller,Breazeale or Ruiz but at least theyed give him some work and be more like 70/30,60/40 fights.
Definitely excited to hear the prospect of him going on a run of Pulev-Ortiz-Wilder. Wilder needs to man up and fight Whyte. If he doesn't have the heart to fight Whyte, just imagine what'll happen to him when he steps into the ring with AJ.
Kinda like Canelo facing Khan,Smith and Chavez in the run up to facing one of the most feared middleweights ever,Ward had it right having three old fashioned tune ups at the new weight. Thing is though with Wilder he's guaranteed the work of C and D bracket HWs as they all look good against him and take him between five and ten rounds,in that knowledge facing a B or A class HW would be just too much of a risk given the money on the table for an AJ fight.
Yeah, I don't for a second believe he'll end up taking the fight with Whyte. Whyte is very high risk fighter. A lot more money to be made fighting Joshua. $10m minimum. I can't believe a fighter as mediocre as Wilder is rejecting a $4m payday though in any case, bizarre stuff.
