True, but popular & popular doesn't hurt.

I'd much much MUCH prefer Fury/AJ just for the build-up alone! Fury would cause AJ to show his true colours, IMHO.

He'll show him the back of his hand, apparently.

Haye from 7 years ago yes would have been a bigger fight, but we are not in 2010 are we?

Today he cant even beat an on the slide CW who was knocked out by Adonis Stevenson. Also Bellew is not even top 3 at CW himself these days.

Prior to that he retired for 4 years because his body broke down on him, which happens when you are on the juice and carrying an abnormally large muscular frame into your early 30s and then mid 30s.

Joshua-Haye would still be a very big fight (if Haye can actually win something to make it reasonable).
It wouldn't be as big as Fury coming back to fight Joshua though.

I've said right from the beginning the whole episode with UKAD and Fury stinks.

Fury has been kept out of the ring long enough to stagnate only for Hearn and Joshua to offer him the fight knowing he's the size of a house end, rusty and Fury suddenly allowed his licence back.....

Let's get real here. With Christmas coming up whatever little jogs Fury may have will be completely overshadowed by the consumption of many turkeys/hedgehogs/whatever he binges on at Christmas.

In January he'll be well over 370lbs.

To healthily shed that weight will take at least a year. Then warm up fights will be required.

If it ever happens I don't see this fight happening until late 2019 . But tbh I don't see this fight happening.

But Fury's money from the Klitschko fight wont last for life,he has to get back in the ring if he dosent want to end up on the streets.

I think Fast Ed is a tad worried about AJ.Not that he's a KO waiting to happen, but is beatable.
If Fury can get to 20 stone and have a tune up fight, the sooner the better then theres a massive pay day for the 3 of them.AJ will beat the latest version of Fury and on he goes.

Rather see him on sky rather than a shitty youtube ppv. Lets not forget he couldn't sell tickets for wlad rematch before he blew his career up.

I don' really get it tbh. Fury is out the game by all means try and entice him back but at this moment in time the fight to be made is wilder v Joshua.

Pretty sure Joshua's just fought his mandatory...wilder will fight his on Saturday night. If he comes through that. That's the fight people should be pressuring Eddie for.

Eddies not even that smart with his deflections and yet people fall for it every time.

He started with wilders not even well known in america. Which is a bit of a whopper. Then he's not known in Britain. Again a bit of a whopper. That fight is huge....especially with the sky backing behind it.

Then he concentrates on fury a guy that's been inactive for 2 years...about 8 stone overweight with a hearing coming up. He's playing people with that.

He done a makeshift pass on wilder by offering the whyte fight. He's not trying to build the Joshua/wilder fight with that...its already huge. He's trying to stall it from happening. He,ll try and talk wilder down anyway he can while talking about fury...all the while taking on guys like takam, pulev etc for Joshua.

Forget fury for now...the balls in his own court. The fight to be made is wilder v Joshua.

Mate the reason why a wilder-AJ fight doesnt happen aside from wilder being a chicken, is that all those who fight for the WBC belt have to be enrolled in VADA for 6 months. Now we see that every other wilder opponent is pissing hot in the run up to fight him, then I severely doubt that AJ wants to go through that and **** hot too?

So AJ doesnt fight wilder as much due to VADA and the high likelihood of a challenging fighter pissing hot, as he does because wilder doesnt want a real challenge and prefers fighting over Dereck Rossys sloppy seconds.
The only challengers not pissing hot against wilder in the run up to fighting him are the stiffs.

Say what you like about Eddie but for anyone wanting to see AJ vs Fury in 2018 this is the best chance we have of it happening.

Ah good post mate. We,re getting somewhere now. People give wilder stick and probably rightly so...but tbf to him hes went for povetkin and Ortiz. Both dangerous guys. Its not really his fault they ve been caught by vada.

If eddies to be believed that wilders not a name...barely known etc...why would vada be protecting him? There just isn't really a valid reason for it.

Plus at the end of the day both povetkin and Ortiz are highly suspicious guys. Ortiz been done before and always been rumours about povetkin after the klitchko fight.

Your starting to wonder what Joshua's got to hide. Their telling us he's clean...but their avoiding vada by the looks of things cause vada caught 2 guys that we,re pretty suspicious anyway.

Eddies trying everything to avoid it all the while blaming wilder. Offered him whyte first. Wilder said he,ll take it as long as they put the Joshua fight next in the contract. The fight its meant to be building up afterall. Eddie said no to that. Then started talking down percentages for any decent challenger although he's not done that with fury unsurprisingly.

Reading your post its starting to make more sense why their avoiding it....cause Joshua might not be the clean fighter they be been claiming afterall. Plus their a bit wary of wilder. He' not your average aj opponent....36 years plus with a but speed.

In an ideal world, I'd like to see Fury on sky with real promotion and have a couple of tune up fights. If AJ vs Fury doesn't happen it would be a tragedy. I'd back AJ all the way, but I want to see a healthy Fury again.
